For context I have read the manga, and haikyu is my favourite anime so I was very eagerly waiting for this to come out, and although overall I loved it, i didn't find myself as emotionally invested as I did with previous seasons, I think it overall suffers from having to be squeezed into an 1 1/2 hour movie when it really deserved to have had a season, it just felt that in order to focus on character exposition/backstory it cut out alot of the actual match so it wasn't as much volleyball match play time as you would expect so it felt a little

rushed at times. The ending especially with (*slight spoiler warning ⚠️) kenmas POV of the final rally is the best part that I actually loved.
I'm sure on rewatches it's just a little sad that it could have been amazing but instead I'll have to settle for it's just good.
I still can't decide if it's rated a 7 or 8 but based on the fact I had some issues I'll stick with 7 for now
I really hope they announce either more movies to cover the remaining chapters fully without having to cut. A big chunk or another season for time skip arc
