These anime are both about prisoners. Rainbow is more realistic in my opinion. Deadman Wonderland on the other hand, has more gore and exciting action scenes.

In terms of plot, Deadman Wonderland and Kaiji are completely different. But I think the second half of Kaiji has some similar scenes to Deadman Wonderland which make you jump off your seat.

Code Geass and Mobile Suit Gundam 00 both fall under the mecha genre. Their plot is also similar - each series having a second season of 25 episodes each with more or less the same format. Both series have a very good story which keeps the watcher eager to know what's going to happen next. In both Code Geass and Mobile Suit Gundam 00 there is romance - though this is more evident in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. In my opinion both have the ingredients that make a great series.

Both from the same author and director - both masterpieces! Both have many small stories which come together into one. In Baccano! most of the characters meet on a train called the Flying Pussyfoot and in Durarara!! the characters all meet in the city of Ikebukuro. Baccano! is all centered in the USA in the 1930's with some of the plot taking place in the past while Durarara!! mostly takes place in modern day Japan. Both series have extremely interesting characters and story. Both series have a strong element of mystery in them too and they both evolve in real life surroundings while they both have supernatural element in them. To sum it all up if you enjoyed Baccano! then you'll enjoy Durarara!! and vice-versa.

The stories of Code Geass and Death Note are similar in many ways. First of all, the main characters of both series want to take over the world by using the powers that they were given. Both Geass and Death Note are used to give people orders, but the power of the Death Note always results in death. Both series are ones that keep you hooked till the last episode in my opinion, and in Code Geass' case, it leaves you with many unanswered questions.
