I'll make this review as short as possible to convey the idea i received from the show.
the animation is without a doubt amazing, the sound effects used are also breathtaking and I'll be lying if I said the anime is lame. the combat scenes are epic, the story line is decent and their emotions are not well depicted in the anime… is what you'll think if you only saw the anime.
[like how M-21's emotions are shown through out the series].

I saw a post of a manga which I've never seen which said "Horimiya" and the quality of the post was epic so i went and read it till the latest chapter, so this is my review.
Horimiya isn't your average romcom and this isn't just a story where two people fall in love and the story comes to a close either, its a story on few friends love stories [ kind of like in Nijiiro days]. the story isn't that hard to understand and its a very sweet one to read as well, personalities of each character is explained and shown in ways that can ...

I'm not gonna go all out and say its one of the best animes I've seen, cause that want be true but it actually is a anime worth watching.
The opening song and ending song is very addictive. the starting is okay and its not complex so its easy for people to understand what's going on. the animation is god tier so no complains there. the story continues nicely without any major plot twists or anything which kind of made the show predictable. the sound effects of the curses are superb it actually gave me a chill for a sec too. When I first started reading this I thought this is gonna be your typical romcom but when I read further into the manga I literally fell in love with the story line and their determination to win each others hearts [ specially Miyuki's determination to win over Kaguya].
apart from those two characters[ Miyuki and Kaguya] the other characters such as Ishigami, Miko, chika, etc... had their own unique qualities which I fell in love with. As a 17 year old, there are characters I could both relate to and admire. so I think this is the perfect school life romcom out there. [my opinion] |
