Actually, I might be wrong about that (I went by MAL's running time, but it's often wrong, especially if some episodes are longer than others), but it's not very long. There are certainly plenty of better anime to watch over this old TV series, though. :P

A little shorter even! It's not even 30 minutes, but it's close. Just keep in mind that it's cruder in terms of animation and artistry and is more about the comic's brand of humor, which is kind of like South Park at its most demented.

The only other thing that's complete (in terms of translation and availability), I think, is the short TV series. It's only like 30 minutes total, lol.

Yeah, it's pretty neat. I like the humor for the comics and such too, but it's kind of hard to recommend because a lot of it's not translated. :(

Yeah, Shoegaze looked okay from the trailer, and a hell of a lot prettier than Grunge. I didn't watch... I think Alternative, but Ion kind of made it sound like Shoegaze might partly be a sequel so not sure with that. I kind of feel like they might be better off making a longer series rather than making a mini-series for every music genre... :P

Thanks for the kind words. When it comes to these kind of sites, I think people often take what they love a little too seriously. I was actually intentionally reading negative reviews for some of my favorite films/series recently, and it can be kind of insightful, especially when good points are raised or they function as a well-written piece that accompanies whatever work in question. Effective criticism that clashes with my own views has sometimes made me reevaluate my views, but at other times, it's made me appreciate the work all the more. After all, none of us are going to like all of the same things to the same degree.
