If you have seen Anohana and you are looking for something similar, something sad, I recommend you Kokoro ga. I honestly can't say that the stories are very similar, but I can say that in the two you find the same types of feelings. Both have a very emotional ending and are one of the best animes of sadness that you can find.

If you liked Ano Natsu de Matteru add

...then you might like Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu add

These anime are based on pure entertainment, both will keep you entertained and asking you questions all the time. The plot of both is a group of friends on summer holidays, the only difference is that Ano Natsu de Matteru have more romance, and Shoujo-tachi have more comedy. Definetly, both are good and similar slice of life.

If you liked Sword Art Online add

...then you might like Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka add

These two animes are based in sword fights (shonen), both have a similar animation and have romance, but are not based on this. If you like Sword Art Online, you will like DanMachi because the development of the anime plot is similar. Both have epic fights against final bosses, but there aren't fights in absolutely all the chapters.
