I have never watched Fate/ Strange Fake of its original light novel version, and I've no clue how good the the rest of the series will be. However, there is one thing I'm sure of, and that is Fate/ Strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn just by this special episode is probably the peek of the entire Fate series.

10/10 ⭐️, that's how gorgeous its made in my opinion, but until an hour ago, I hadn't been looking forward to seeing it coming. The art style is just not my type. Now I regretted judging the book by its cover. The different art style just make ... it special, reminding me that I wasn't familiar with many anime artist e.g. One Piece or even Fate/Stay night, and gems will always shine.

But just to let anyone who sees my review know, Fate/ Strange Fake might not suit non-Fate fans favour. I enjoy it a lot because I have already understood the world building of Fate, and have even seen some of the characters from the other anime franchises say Fate/Zero, Fate/Apocrypha and FGO. If this was my first time being into the world of Type-Moon (Fate), I'm not sure whether I will enjoy that much. Like Fate/Stay Night, I had hard time finishing the anime watching some random characters fighting for an unknown reason, despite it being well written with some unique plot twists. But that is the fun part too, understanding the game, different stories behind the Holy Grail Wars. Good news to people who approach Fate the first time, FSF has a lot clearer storyline then Fate/Stay Night does. It has already outlined the purposes of characters who joined the war and what the wars is about in the beginning, so the upcoming TV adaptation will just be how the war goes and some explanation of the Holy Grail.

Production quality. One of the best made anime with everything good. Well-knit plot, well written script so far, nice directing, amazing art, top tier sound effects. Sawano Hiroyuki for the music. Just flawless production.

Will the rest of the series be as good? I can't tell because the beginning of Holy Grail Wars are usually hyped with charcters showing their abilities and power. But if the rest are produced with similar quality, it's going to be at least 9/10 as the original light novel itself has some good reputation I have heard. So yeah can't wait to see the TV adaptation.

Let me give my conclusion first.
This anime is bad. (still 6/10)

I think the staff did try to make it as good as it could be (in some aspect), but at the same time I have to say that the my experience through out the first 6 episodes was not good at all.

The company has so little budget and time for Tensei Kenja, however also wanted to not make crappy animations. Therefore, instead of having it done badly, they had chosen to do less or just use the damn cg magic actions over and over again. The cg itself is definitely not terrible. In ... fact, I found it quite promising.
Until it appeared the second time and I realised well I might have to watch it third or fourth times later. Yep, they didn't disappoint me.
I don't know how many times more they have to use the two scenes as I'm still on episode 7 and have lost count already.

To be fair, they did quite good job on not drawing super badly, which you may have seen in couple of isekai anime where the characters' faces aren't even symmetrical. But the level of completion is real bad.
I think it was like episode 7 they made 20sec of 1 frame animation. I wasn't even mad cause I was too busy laughing.
Best experience so far and I'm stilling looking forward.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure that the team aren't afraid to reveal the fact that they lack time and money, and just the opposite, they want you to know this fact.
I don't think their goal is to make it as finished as possible but to show their audience that they have the ability to make good animation but they just lack the money (just personal opinion/ might not be factual). I had never seen such ridiculous unmoving scene in anime history. One Piece at least they do the staring contest thing, Tensei Kenja boom almost complete silence, the characters do nothing in the scene and 20 seconds later okay lets speak.

That is the message I received from the Revoroot, that they believe by making it more aesthetic, they are willing to lower other aspects at all cost even when out of money.
I don't know if this is their way to gain more reputation or just the believe of the director. I'm not liking Tensei Kenja in anime.
