So it should be Isekai, Adventure, Fantasy, but what we get is School Drama.
All this is better done by many other anime, more emotions and character are better build than in this one. Plot armor are used too, so happen that falling, so happen that land on x, so happen that it was in y place, and... yeah. (and was few of this multiple things happen at once so scene could happen)
Animation is bad, but I watched a lot worst and it didn't stop me, because story was interesting, this... I skip some episodes, because they was nothing interesting in them. 90% of this

season could be skip if someone introduced herself as normal person would do.
MC problem which take 5% of season or more, yeah is a problem, but when you mother is missing, when you still searching others you care, it can wait, be mention time to time, not something MC should care.
Oh, and let me ask you, do you remember how you looks 15 years ago? Younger you are, more photos you must take. Why I ask, because MC have more than 15 years in this world, but author (sorry is only reason) still using his old image, as anything from his old world would be keep intact, especially in world when many times you risk your or others life. It may look for most watchers ok, but if you think about it, he should be different and his regression is stupid, only seams natural, because for us it was few year from season 1, and we use to concept that characters don't change, but to be something great, author should think about it.
There are few things which really progress story, but taking too little time and explanation. About transfer and summon magic, labyrinth etc. But it could be put in 1 or 2 episodes.
I read comments that is weaker part of LN, let hope is true, I will try next season, but because world build in first season is interesting, but when you put school drama is not interesting for me, from "skip content" I know they skip that he get higher tier in one magic, but why they didn't put in anime? And that author still not show higher tier magic is crazy, and yes, it is author conscious decision because even in our world where magic don't exists we know about big magic which is in folklor but don't exist, end we do know nothing about it in that world (yeah, it may be next Attack on Titan BS - sorry, but I don't like story in it, action is ok) only few mentions about world changing magic, but nothing between rain and moving continents, that one that straight road in season one was created by one attack, was only few mention of greater magic, and he is on magic university and still nothing... (lets ignore that he travel whole continent and learn nothing new). Anyway, maybe next season would be better, but for anime I skip episodes I can't give more than 4/10 (even Arifureta is higher on my list..)
