This is one of my favorite series from Summer 2015. It is a very nice blend of fantasy and mystery and does a great job of keeping us at the edge of our seat guessing the solution all the way to the end. The story is based on a group of Braves that must save the world by defeating the demon god. There are supposed to be six braves, but once they gather together we end up with seven. This season deals with finding who the traitor is, in kind of a locked-room mystery.
There is plenty of action while the mystery is being solved, which
...
provides a nice balance to keep us entertained. Also, there is a tiny bit off romance thrown in there and of course some comic relief.
One of my favorite things about this show is the art, and this is the reason for the overall score being 9 instead of 8. I love the style they use in the art, and the animation is impeccable too.
On top of that, the characters are interesting and provide the story with depth. The quirks and characteristics of each of the players in the mystery make this a special show.
Finally, as I was watching this my biggest fear was that once we found out about the solution we were not going to be satisfied with the logic behind it. Luckily, this wasn't the case, and I have to be honest, that made me really happy. I would say that if you enjoy mysteries, this is a series you cannot miss!

This one is clearly among the best anime of the Summer 2015 season. The story is fairly original, involving a gate opening up between Tokyo and a fantastical world where dragons, monsters, elves, and others exist. It all starts with an invasion by the army from this parallel world, and soon we get an army of Japanese soldiers going over to the special region in an effort of recognizance.
The clash of word generates plenty of interesting and funny situations. There are a myriad of awesome characters to appreciate and learn to understand. Among these, we have one of my favorite characters in an anime
...
ever, Rory Mercury.
The series does a very good job in blending in some political situations that engage our attention, and of course there is a little fan service here and there too (like the vast majority of series today), but this is kept in check and does not take away anything from the enjoyment of the series.
I found the animation to be very good and there is a lot of creativity displayed in some of the characters creation. Overall, a very nice, well-rounded series. There is a little bit of an issue with the fact that it feels like we only got half a season, with another 12 episodes coming in January 2016, but it is understandable.

There are many reasons why I enjoyed this series, and being able to watch it with my 9-year-old daughter with both of us having a good time is at the top of the list. There are not many series that provide that, since they are either not appropriate for kids that age or they are boring for an adult like me. This is one of those rare exceptions.
If I told you that the basic premise of the series is that a classroom of students are "assigned" with the task to kill their teacher, who is an alien that promised to destroy the earth by the
...
end of the school year if the class does not achieve the objective, you would think that this is an action anime. This is far from the truth. This series is much more about the relationship between a teacher that really cares for his students' development and personal growth, and about findings success when the odds are stacked against you.
There is quite a bit of humor in this series, some of it is high quality, some of it a little silly (it's a shonen after all, what do you expect?). The art is good without being the best out there. But the other area in which this series shines is in its characters. They dis a really great job with providing us with various options from students in the class that get the spotlight shined on them. That way, each one of us can have his / her favorite. From the quiet and cerebral Nagisa, to the Machiavellian Karma, to the bully Ryouma, there are plenty of options to choose from. On top of that, there are some intriguing characters as teachers.
Overall, this is a fun series to watch. It may not be the highest quality anime out there, but if you are looking for some pure unadulterated fun, you should look no further. And as I mentioned at the start, if you are looking for a show to watch as a family, this is it!

I have to say that this series was one of the pleasant surprises this season. I went into it expecting it to be a run-of-the-mill ecchi, but ended up finding a funny series with the right mix between comedy and erotic content. Both of these were done pretty tastefully.
The premise of the show is that the the parents of the two main characters, Ui and Hayato, agreed that they would marry when they were of an appropriate age. So when Ui shows up at her highs chool classmate's house and springs the news that now she was going to live with him, she turns Hayato's
...
world upside down.
The characters are well developed and even though the episodes last only 8 minutes, they managed to make me care for what happened to them and their relationship. The art is very nice, but in order to appreciate this show you need to watch the uncensored version (I also checked out a few of the censored episodes and the quality decreases considerably by missing key scenes).

I had the bad luck to see someone in a forum recommend this manga and decided to read it. Right from the start it looked to me like it was not going to be an enjoyable opinion, but I decided to keep on reading so I could have a more informed opinion.
After six chapters I had to throw in the towel. This manga bored me to death. Each chapter follows the same structure, the main character Ena Takahashi hides and eavesdrops on a conversation between two other male classmates (sometimes a third one may be included). The idea is that these conversations are funny and
...
her thoughts about what they are saying without realizing a girl is hearing them should make us enjoy these events. The fact of the matter is that the humor is poor and I did not find myself smiling, let alone laughing, once.
On top of that, the art is nothing to write home about, as a matter of fact I would call it below average. There are also some ancillary characters that do not really add anything to the story. I would definitely recommend to stay away from this one.

Here I sit after having finished this series and I have to say that the Last Season of the manga was a letdown. I enjoyed the first two seasons much more than this one.
I think that the story goes a bit over the top in an effort to outdo previous seasons. As a result we end up getting a jumbled mess of a story, and we are lost trying to figure out who is on which side in the first couple of volumes. The fact that many characters were mask contributes to this confusion since it is hard to know who is acting. Finally in
...
terms of the story, towards the end the developments get sillier and sillier, and I found myself almost not caring about how it was all going to end.
The art is good, but there are several spots where it gets sloppy and it is hard to follow the action and figure out whose face we are looking at. The characters are more of a dichotomy, since we have some really great ones in terms of how they have been developed consistently through time, such as Hibiki, Falcon, or Otoya, but others that act inconsistently throughout the story, most notably J.
Overall, I had fun with the manga series if you put together all these three seasons, but this last one definitely left a bitter-sweet taste in my mouth. It wasn't bad by any means, but had several issues it was hard to get past.
