The overall vibe is very similar, overpowered MC, whacky fights and cartoonish villains, MC that doesn't quite want to fight and wants a chill life, both are episodic, the second male lead really appreciates the MC, comic book vibes & similar visuals. Similar humor except I'd say Sakamoto relies less on parody type humor and more just gags, while OPM is a bit more over the top with it, which I loved. Adult cast (thank GOD) battle shounens.

Similar feel to them, somewhat bubbly and clumsy female lead and level-headed male lead who is helping her and showing kindness in practical and protective ways; similar "will they-won't they" moments in the beginning of the story (and you know they will, it's in the title and cover page); similar romantic scenes, their relationships are filled with sweetness; all of them are adults: the male leads are so hot they are turning heads anywhere they go "How I met my soulmate" has better character art, while Yamada has less angst and, at the moment, sturdier relationship and the female lead is a bit more realistic in her actions and less anxious, while in the other manga the male lead is a bit more strict and harsher than Yamada (however both of them are more chill and not super possessive). Both relationships are healthy and loving.
