I really enjoyed Selector Infected and Selector Spread Wixoss, while neither were perfect I loved watching them. When I heard of another season of the anime, I was ecstatic. However Lostorage Incited Wixoss was not a patch on the previous two seasons.
Story (5/10):
The story itself fell short for me. It was all too dramatic, it didn't make any sense or make for an enjoyable viewing. The characters emotions seemed like they were exaggerated to make a plot. In terms of the games, the way they changed it with the game revolving around a selector's memories seemed good at the beginning but as the season went
...
on there wasn't the same feeling about the games. There wasn't the same worry, it didn't seem as big of a deal if you lost or won like it did with Selector Infected/Spread. While some parts of the plot were fun to watch, overall it just seemed messy and like the writers didn't know where they were going with it.
Art (6/10):
Not much to say about the art, it was okay nothing appalling in my opinion. But then again nothing memorable either.
Sound (5/10):
The music was really disappointing. The title sequence was forgettable and not even worth watching. I loved the title sequence's for the past two seasons, with Kanon Wakeshima singing both. They were both great, and it was so disappointing that with Lostorage the music is just so forgettable and not even worth listening to.
Character (5/10):
The two main characters, Suzuko and Chinatsu, were pretty bland. Their friendship was interesting, and I thought Chinatsu's story was interesting in regards with her family life and how she struggles to be the best at everything. Suzuko was sweet but there was no real background and I just didn't really seem to care. I was happy to see a range of selectors in the sequence, thinking that the season may not just focus on two people but a range. It didn't. Other charcter's like Rio or Shohei were only touched on and kinda faded into the background. Even the LRIG's seemed more boring this time, there was no real personality to any of them.
Enjoyment (6/10):
As much as there was to pick at and complain about, I still enjoyed it. The basic premise was the same from the previous seasons and that's what I loved. It still had me on the edge of my seat at some battles and there were many great moments within the show.
Overall (6/10):
I would suggest you watch Selector Infected/Spread, not only to give you a little background on the universe but also as in my opinion they are much better than Lostorage. I am a little dissapointed with this in comparison to previous seasons but I still enjoyed it, and I hope they'll improve it with the next season.

I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed this, after the first episode I thought I might just drop it half way through. However, I quickly became hooked and I am so happy I found this anime and saw it through to the end. It was something I usually wouldn't watch, but I'm glad I did.
The story seemed to me pretty generic and boring at first glance of the synopsis, but I gave it a try as I saw how many people liked it. I wasn't disappointed. The characters were for me one of my favourite things about this, I found them each to
...
be endearing in their own way. While I would have preferred some more time and depth for some of them, I found them all to be interesting and engaging in their own way. Characters like Jinta usually really annoy me, well I thought he would at first glance. I initially believed he would be a moody brat for the entire series which I was happy to find he wasn't. I really warmed to him, especially at the end. In short, the story was captivating and it may have had me in tears at the end.
The art and sound did an amazing job to set the mood, and emphasize the emotions within the situations at the time. It helped me to really engage with the characters, cement what they were feeling within that scenario, the mood etc. With a story that deals with such a sad event like death, the music helped to grow attachments to these characters and actually care about them.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series, it was sad but also strangely fulfilling. Death is a horrible tragedy we all deal with, and this anime shows how friendship can be one thing to overcome the sadness of it. As cheesy as it sounds, and I am aware of how cheesy I am getting, it was heartwarming to see the friends bond and grow from the tragedy. It really moved me and I recommend this to anyone, it is worth the watch and I promise you won't be disappointed.

I was very excited to watch this, reading many reviews that raved about the anime. While the first episode had me hooked, I soon became disinterested in the series and found myself forcing myself to finish it not out of enjoyment but instead just to see it through to the end.
The story itself is very interesting, and is what really pulled me in from the first episode. But with the focus moving from character to character I felt like the plot was kinda lost. I understood why they did it, but I personally didn't like the style and really didn't like any of the characters.
...
None of them to me were particularly memorable, most just seemed like they had no substance to them. While their backstories were interesting, I felt that we didn't really see enough of any of the characters for me to really engage with one and have a solid opinion on them.
The art style itself was nice, but again nothing that I felt was truly amazing. Same goes for the sound, okay but nothing I would personally remember after.
For me, it was confusing. On one episode I did have to look up what just happened because I was utterly confused. However, I found by the end of the series I didn't really understand any of what had happened and found the ending to be disappointing I guess? (I won't go into for risk of giving away.). I have realized that it was a complicated series, not something you can just understand from your first interpretation and I probably should have payed more attention. Regardless, as the series progressed I felt the series was just getting boring and confusing.
All in all I wasn't a fan of this series by any means, but if you are a fan of the psychological genre I do suggest you have a look at it. It is interesting and if you do enjoy this sort of story then it will probably be of high interest to you.
