Even if you are not a transgender woman, being assigned as man is some kind of prison that controls the way you must look, behave and build relationships.

In this mangá, Yohei must choose between a mediocre and abusive relationship with a cisgender girl and building something new and post-gender with his transgender non-binary/woman friend.

Personally, i feel how that part of "playing male" is exhausting and thats probably the reason why i have difficult relating with cisgender women. Like that time when his classmate pushed him to ask Mitani for sex, it's really weird how people expect men to have an unlimited lust for sex, sometimes ... we just want to hold hands and chill just like women.

Edit: I really liked it, but put into "Mixed Feelings" because of sexual and psychological abuse scenes. Not just Yohei-Mitani relationship is abusive but Yohei-Kei relationship starts very abusive despite moving somewhere else later.
