Every leader needs an Op strategist and neither Arslan nor Kingdom is different in this matter. In both anime an old kingdom fight with other kingdoms mc starts as lowest and try to rise in his career.Since Arslan is crown prince anime focuses about diplomacy , relationship of other kingdoms , alliances and religion fight kingdom focuses fights ranks and tactical battefield.

Story of underdog crown prince/princess.You can summarize both series like that.Only real difference is gender of mc and this cause a focus change. In AS focus is military/diplomacy.ANY focuses recruiting "aid" for her cause and claim. But don't get me wrong. Both mc has a strong point and they are not totally useless leaders carried bt other.

You really want another season for that right?Well sorry we dont have one but here a similar anime for you.SSK and Shiki takes in a village with supernatural elements. Both of them want you question about human nature and how it is works.Good part is at the end of both anime you can relate yourself with both enemy factions and can't say this faction is wrong. As a plus both of them have epic osts.

I always thing like KLK takes place in TTGL universe yet they don't have mechs instead they have cloths. Made by different studios but animation is done by same person. Even story progress is same. They start at lowest.Somewhere near mid in anime a big downfall happens. Then they reach the highest.Oh and expect the near-same crayzness level for fights too.

Time traveling is always a popular theme for anime. But it is risky because it can cause a lot of plot holes. Then again those two anime don't have a problem about that at all. Both mc have similar goal and reason for using time travel again and again.Steins;Gate hasn't got any real fight scenes but it has much philosophical approach about time travel. Both are done by the same studio so animation style is similar too.
