You shouldn't be deceived by that roller blades.
This anime has a deeper story than one would actually imagine. At first one would think that this was another sport anime whose story revolves around competitions and tournaments. But you only guessed a portion right.
The "motorized wheeled footgear" used in this series is called Air Trek. Normal people would use it as a form of transportation. But the VIPs use it for, yeah you got it right, showing off! And everyone thinks they're pretty cool.
Let us point the spotlight to the main character Ikki. Note that I am doing this review based on the anime ONLY
...
for i haven't read the manga. The main character reminds me of Sena Kobayakawa, Ippo Makunochi, and all the characters that are demonstrated to be GENIUS on a foreign field. This character development will kind of accelerate your urge to watch him beat the crap out of the weak guys who underestimates. Haha
The element of secrecy presented in the Sleeping Forest team is a good idea. It makes you want to find out and continue to watch more. However, this proves to be counter productive sometimes. It spoils the the excitement as to you know already who and what to expect in the final battle.
The emergement of the genesis is a major unexpected event in the series. One that really got me hook up for quite some time. The only thing that bothered me is the fact that SO MANY PEOPLE are actually taking this air trek thing VERY SERIOUSLY. And by serious i mean having oneself subject to another. This sudden addition of event makes me think that the entire AIR TREK universe isn't perfectly defined. One thing that will prove my claim is the existence of regalias. All the while I thought that the crazy tricks, some of which doesn't conform to the laws of physics, are just exaggerations. But with the advent of the regalias, those out-of-these-world "parts" that could practically make you a superhuman-wearing-AT, my whole notion of a perfectly normal universe crumbled to pieces.
The tropaeum, or whatever that is, is something that you yourself should find out, for I don't have a clear picture of it in my mind. Meaning, it was as vague as it can get, at least for me. Maybe it has something to do with the unfinished storyline in the anime. Maybe one would understand if the manga is read alongside it. I can't say for sure.
With everything said, did i just make myself clear that there is more to it than meets the eye? Try watching it and you may find out other things not mentioned here, things that are cleverly put to keep yourself fixated on it for an indefinite amount of time.

Ajimu Kaigan Monogatari.. Ahh. Natsukashii.
This anime was a dated one and yet, i had the luxury to watch it only last month (January). That is how i am deprived of anime time. huhu
Seriously, I have inhibitions in watching 4,5,6,7,8 parter anime. That is mainly because I might not enjoy the story or there might be no story at all. But this anime proved me wrong.
This series is an attempt to picture a teenage love, heartache and romance. It was compressed into 4 episodes at the cost of smooth story progression. The story isn't original at all but hey, isn't Ajimu cute? That's all that matters
...
right?
Kidding and cuteness aside, the soundtrack of this anime is quite GOOD. The hawaiian themed music is a little uplifting. I remember myself googling for the soundtrack after watching the series but failed miserably. If anyone here has it, you know how to contact me *wink wink*
Ukelele (is it?) playing girl is a major plus. Singing girls are a major plus too. And that credit goes to the seiyuu. Her voice is very consistent throughout the series. You can notice that everytime she sings, the recording isn't a recycled version if you know what I mean. This is highly evident in the scene where Ajimu started crying in the stage.
Some recommendations. This anime could have been better if no ecchi scenes were incorporated (or am i just sensitive?). It just ruins the wholesome image of the main character. And yes, something is wrong with the love story. It should have been ME. haha.
To give a hint on the major plot, it is your ordinary love story, one you can see in soap operas. Boy meets girl, boy wants girl, girl hates boy, girl loves ex, girl falls in love, and so on. I can't find anything special in this anime. But still, a worthwhile watch if you're into love stories. 7.5/10. I am so generous. -_-

This is the series that induced countless sleepless nights.
This was the first omnibus-format anime I watched. The best thing about this format is that multiple mutually-exclusive story arcs can be incorporated. The major drawback is the compacted story line which will leave you craving for more.
After looking at the thumbnail picture, I thought, "maybe one of those harem anime again". But after watching the first arc, which is in my opinion the best arc, I found myself having this strange feeling of wanting to watch MORE knowing the sun is starting to rise up!!!
In terms of artwork, I think it is arguably one of the
...
best. But it is funny to point out that I can interchange Tsukasa and Morishima on a bad hair day.
The first opening and ending theme resounded in my head for a couple of days. Every arc has their own ending theme, which is a good feature. It makes every arc personalized and completely independent from each other. Well i dunno if you also have that feeling but I strongly do.
Of course, not all arcs are good. I mean, they are good but there are MUCH better ones. Morishima, Rihoko and Tsukasa arcs are the worthwhile ones. Kaoru arc is a little less than a common love story. Sae-Junichi pair i think is a no-no. Nanasaki arc is somewhat ecchi and she's only first year!
This anime was an adaptation of a dating simulation game. Too bad i didn't have the chance to play it. But i have enough experience in playing one though. One thing that i would like to see in case of a future installment are the better, good and worst endings of each arc. That would be fun.
And yes, let us talk about the seiyuus. Kaoru's seiyuu is a natural. Morishima and Tsukasa's are exceptional. Sae's is a little weird. The shi-shi in Miya's laugh reminds me of Thriller Bark arc of One Piece.
Character development is "open" for more development. Due to the compacted story line, their personalities are often neglected for love story progression and in some cases, the reverse.. It would have been better, i think, if they just made it a multiple seasoned anime to delimit the focus.
Overall, I would give this series a 10/10. Not because it is the best, but it tried to. This anime is highly recommended if you're into love story. The rewatch rating highly depends on which arc to watch again.

This series is arguably one of the cutest. These snow fairies will let the moe out of every "real" man.
The selling part of this series is its overwhelming cuteness. The fact that the characters are chibi fairies and school children proves no other intention.
The story I believed was set in some town in Germany. It is nice to point out that the western setting was defined consistently in terms of culture, names and structures.
The naming sense was a genius idea. The cuteness of those chibi characters added with spice names makes them more kawaii and huggable and squeeshable and edible (ok that was
...
weird).
The story is somewhat original in its own way. One thing I found weird is the lack of a main story line. This makes it a little episodic. And the ending i think is not fitting. Although the cuteness makes up for it. haha
The soundtrack is good. The piano pieces were great. It makes me want to place a camera next to my piano and do those tutorial videos like the one in youtube. The mood of the scene is amplified by the use of good soundtrack so they did a great job on that.
The opening song!! Ahh. I love the rendition. The original version was sung by the rubettes but i am loving this version of Yoko Ishida very much. thumbs up if you agree. Haha
The main character Saga and Greta reminds me of Sakura and Tomoyo from Cardcaptor Sakura. The resemblance is uncanny don't you think? Because of that, I thought this was from CLAMP. But i think it is not.
Overall, This is worth a watch. You will not get tired of watching this until the end, that I gurantee. 9.5/10 it is. XD

07-Ghost somewhat reminded me of Code Geass with the exception of the evident boy's love which makes it a shoujo anime. The universe is not well defined. It completely left me wondering about the ghosts and other mystical characters.
The story is original, incorporating religious matters. It is worth a watch if you're looking for something different.
