This manga had so much potential!
Intriguing story, impressive twists, and interesting characters! It had wonderful world building and good themes.
It's about a quest to find "morning" from that dark world. Ironically, the one desperately looking for it doesn't even really need to find it, while those who do are satisfied with the dark. Until, of course, they meet a certain someone.
I'm pleased with the philosophical and psychological aspects/themes of the manga. There's just so much about human behavior being reflected in the manga that appear to be applicable even in present time.
But I'm not that surprised about it being quite unpopular. It lacks appeal for

This spectacular show helps you appreciate animation and the people behind it more than you already do.
Most people think that a drawing skill is the only essential skill when doing animation... but animation is more than just paper. Yes, one's creativity and imagination can make your jaw drop in awe.... but they would be meaningless without the help of abilities. This magic may be put to waste if it weren't for the help of the sounds that make them alive, and the promotion done that make them known to people. In other words, there are many kinds of talents that create such a masterpiece. And all ... Apr 9, 2020

Still as ridiculous and hilarious as the previous seasons, hahaha! Sometimes things don't need to make sense in order to enjoy watching a show~
I think there isn't much character development unlike the previous season, but I'm pleased that this season did so well in developing the relationship between the main duo. It didn't put too much emphasis on the sister beating up the brother (we've already seen so much of that in season one); it even showed moments when they get along... or acting alike. Shows that no matter how different siblings appear; they can't be THAT different. What a fun ride~ Looking forward to ... Apr 8, 2020

It was fantastic to get a glimpse of the fashion designing industry in this show. It seems so easy, but it's apparently just as crazy as showbiz.
The characters can be boring at times, but overall they're not bad. This had been fun to watch, and every episode was interesting in its own way. I'm most impressed with the messages it's trying to portray... The main theme of this show is about never giving up in pursuing your dreams. It's nice to see that the show demonstrates that even people who seem to have everything have their own struggles as well. I find it terrific that the ... Apr 8, 2020
It's unusual to see a story about a jeweler, much less a jeweler's story that's well-written.
Admittedly, it can get a little boring sometimes, but overall each episode manages to remain interesting. Characters in it aren't so bad either. I absolutely adore how the main characters express their love for each other despite not being a romantic couple. I'm pleased that the show is fully aware that love between two guys is possible; and it doesn't have to be romantic love. Lastly, I like how this show made me appreciate gemstones more than before. Their beauty is not the only thing that makes them valuable. The art and ... Oct 4, 2011

Quick First Impressions:
This has been one of the most amusing and refreshing series (with a vampire for a main character) I've ever read. Not to mention it isn't even angsty!!! O_O I can't wait for the antagonist/s to show up... things will definitely get even more interesting when that happens~ Honestly, everything in it would've been fun and great if it weren't for the leading girl (she's the "stereotype" and the main cause of the "cliche" scenarios). Oh well, I'll try my best to ignore her. I don't wanna miss all the fun~ Oct 3, 2011

Quick First Impressions:
Prisoners here want to get out of prison mainly because it's their order, and they have a bigger mission outside. Hopefully, their opponents (particularly the cops) won't be that easy (they managed to catch such high ranking criminals after all). So far so good. I think it's very interesting. Hopefully the manga adaptation will focus more on their escape and their adventure out of prison... rather than on the... disturbing parts (I'm not a a yaoi fan, ya know) Oct 1, 2011
Pretty much your typical shounen series... but the action scenes seem bloodier (literally and figuratively) and the main characters aren't so bad. It can get better depending on the new characters showing up and the stuff that the hero would need to do.

What a fantastic fantasy and psychological thriller! It was so intense that it got me at the edge of my seat xD Very interesting and intriguing so far~
It's already so great on its first chapter, and it gets even better on the next (and will most likely go on in the succeeding chapters xD). ~ More thoughts at her blog Sep 18, 2011

Tiger & Bunny is not your typical superhero show... yet it is just as charming and as exciting as your favorite superhero shows~
If you look into this series as the usual comical mecha show, you'll definitely be disappointed... since it's not even a mecha show in the first place. Tiger & Bunny isn't the type of series which you can appreciate for what it appears on first impression alone, but for what it is. ~ longer review @ her blog |
