If you liked Shakugan no Shana add

...then you might like Isuca add

As much as I'd like to give you more than a list with similarities and differences, with the setting of Isuca appearing to be a direct copy of Shakugan no Shana's there is very little else to say. As such; both series have monsters from another world who need to suck out humans' lifeforce in order to be able to remain in our world. Fighting those monsters is a young tsundere with a love for the word "Urusai" helped by an everyday schoolboy with a certain mysterious power. Needless to say they end up living together. Saying it's all the same would be a bit unfair though, Isuca focusses more on ecchi/harem, while Shana keeps it at a love triangle with considerable less intrusive echiness and censoring. Furthermore the start of Shakugan no Shana is far superior to the start of Isuca.

...then you might like Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru add

They say no good deed goes unpunished, thus saving the world comes at a severe cost. Both stories tell the tales of a group of girls fighting to save the world from certain invaders, only to find out just how true those words are. While Yuuki Yuuna doesn't immediately grab your attention like Madoka does, in the long run it will certainly be worth your time if you enjoyed the later.

Both series teach about the creation of some of our favorite types of entertainment and the struggles that come with them. Bakuman focuses on the creation of manga, while Shirobako tells us about the development of anime. As such both are a must watch for every anime fan, but are also a good introduction for anyone unfamiliar with the genre.

...then you might like Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou add

A fairly normal guy enters an old dorm filled with social misfits. While Sakurasou is filled with mostly geniuses of one kind or another and Kawaisou people that don't fit in for slightly different reasons they share a very similar atmosphere. Also, romance ^^ Note: Based on only one episode of Kawaisou, but they already seem similar enough for a recommendation

If you liked Shinsekai yori add

...then you might like Psycho-Pass add

A world that at first sight might seem an utopia, but turns out to be built at such a cost that it is questionable whether it is actually worth it. I would recommend both to anyone interested in dystopian stories. The main difference between the stories (apart from the world they're in) is the pacing. While Psycho Pass drops you off in the middle of the story Shinsekai Yori slowly eases you into the story and lets you grow accustomed to the world first.

If Lelouch were a loli, and you change mecha in magic... Well, there are quite a few differences. But the main characters do have some similarities, they both seem to fight for a similar cause, take over the world to change it for the better, use a similar organisation and get some magical help.

...then you might like Sakura Trick add

The second half of the name 'Yuru Yuri' describes both series perfectly. Both are light hearted comedies about girls who are into girls. Little more to say about them, really.

The two series seem to be practically the same. A broke protagonist, working in a pair to help out people with all kinds of requests using their super powers. Even their 'offices' are the same, a table in the local bar.
