Tanken Driland is a light-hearted adventure anime. Its story is one that has been repeated many times: defeat the evil villain and defend the land named Driland. The main character, an innocent little princess, is summoned by her master to go on a journey to protect Driland. The setting is that of a fantasy JRPG, where characters encounter the MC and become part of her party, and together they head out to defeat the evil with magic and swords.
Story & Characters:
The story is too simple, lacking tension, depth, and drama. Character arcs follow a repetitive pattern: it starts with the character in question
...
yearning for power, then an unexpected obstacle that they have deal with leaves them with newfound strength by the end. I would have overlooked all of that if the characters had more than just their quirk and one-dimensional personality. There's also a noticeable lack of world building and character development that would have stimulated me enough to make me enjoy my time. but who am I to complain about such things when this is clearly a kids show.
Visuals & Sound:
The fights are dull, with characters merely clashing their swords and mouths. The production values aren't impressive either, each action is animated with no more than four frames, there’s no post-processing, and most effects are computer-generated. I didn’t appreciate the art style either, baby-like proportions with round cubic heads.
The OST that comes with this anime is decent. However, there is only one fighting theme that gets tiring after a while. Sound effects are also reused a lot. There are about 3 different sword sounds, that isn't much considering that you will be hearing them for the length of this anime.
Overall Opinion:
I would never have finished watching Tanken Driland if I didn't have any nostalgia for it. And I can't bring myself to recommend an anime that is obviously directed at kids. maybe it was entertaining for its time. however, I would say that it didn't age well, kids have a lot of ways to entertain themselves that are far superior than watching Tanken Driland. And even if you want to watch it, your options are limited. The only versions I know of are the original Japanese and the Arabic dub, and I could only find 19 subtitled episodes.

-The title says it all, it's a romance anime were the previous vice president Kuze starts to help a recently transferred half russian Alisa on her pursuit of becoming president, she secretly likes the protagonist and speaks her mind in russian, she doen't know but he understands russian but is embarrassed to admit that.
-As far as stories go this one isn't particularly innovative, but atleast it is comfort to most and it avoids the rushed development often seen in similar series. It's not like the story is boring either, there is the weird comedy that is sometimes fourth wall breaking.
-Charecters fit into familiar molds but
...
possess enough depth to avoid being mere one-dimensional figures, they are two-dimensiona if I might say. There is some potential for more depth as in this season it just layed the setup for family issues and a devorce of parents backstory. There is some missed potential for side charecters as they don't have a lot of meaningful interactions and feel as tools to progress the plot.
-The animation in this anime isn't the sloppy junk that is usually expected of Rom-Coms, but it's not great either. The voice acting is fine if I overlook how the voice actors seem to be struggling while speaking russian. The directing is not note worthy in my opinion.
*final thoughts:
Rom-Coms isn't peek entertainment in my eyes. but if you want a tsundere droping emotional bombs in russian to a man that is trying hard not to cringe then this is what you are looking for. It didn't offer me a new perspective but I enjoyed it a little and for that I give it a score of: 6.5/10.

I'm reviewing the first and second seasons of "The Misfit Of Demon King Academy".
The first season of this anime introduces us to the main character, Anos Voldigoad, who is unfathomably powerful, never wrong or defeated. He can beat ordinary people with the sound of his heartbeats and can even compete with gods. However, this wipes away suspense as you start thinking about how he's going to do what he wants rather than how he's going to win. This has its own appeal and charm that I'm not into, but even so, this anime is still mid-tier.
Story:
To be honest, I can't stand the story,
...
It's not even hilariously bad. This anime doesn't bother explaining the rules of its universe and doesn't respect the curiosity of its viewers to know more about it. It touches on some politics, but I wished it went deeper as it barely had any impact. The twists this show has don't make any sense, like how characters get killed just to then be revived by the main character, Anos Voldigoad. The lead-up to every twist feels made up on the spot and poorly thought out. The story goes in whatever direction it wants, not to speak of how this show is speedrunning tropes in the first season or how most events affect no more than five episodes. At least these issues are a little less pronounced in Season 2 Part 2, but something that isn't gone, however, is how nothing is getting its much-needed time. The problem isn't with the premise itself, which is mostly okay, but rather with the way it is delivered and the details. For me, at least, the magic in this show is more disappointing than the breathing techniques in Demon Slayer. In this world, sources are concepts of the existence of all living things that cannot be touched with normal attacks like magic that have seven types. I don't want to start reading from the wiki, but there are a lot of magic spells that are only explained on a surface level. There is Ingall, a spell that resurrects the dead, but where does its source and flesh come from? That is never explained. It's not just this spell that isn't explained, but it would take too long for me to bring the long list of spells in this anime that have been used once or twice and never seen again.
Characters:
The character interactions are abnormal, even in anime standards. If you didn't notice from the long title, this anime is a light novel adaptation. As light novels can't show you how characters feel, they present their feelings with dialogue that is boring and uninteresting if delivered in the same way this show does. Characters always tell you what they are thinking and how they are feeling. They didn't even try to express any of that in any other way. Let's take some noteworthy characters, such as the sarcastic main character, who can do anything he wants like changing the personality of others and changing his appearance to that of a kid, his parents who are obsessed with him so much that they mention everything he does, and his harem who show their obsession in other ways like singing and dying for him if they can. At least the characters in this anime are more intelligent and coherent than the average NPC.
Art:
If you are looking for good animation, you will be very disappointed as this anime relies heavily on effects. The CG dragons are disgusting in this season. It doesn't bother to make magic look cool as it uses particles, fade, waves, smoke, and some other effects. The camera angles are basic as to not bother with perspective, actions are not given more than four frames, and the color composition is mediocre. At least the first season had better art direction than this. The OST is mostly mediocre, and the voice acting is fine, it is clear that the voice actors are giving their best.
In the end, this is nothing more than a generic power fantasy that is a little bit different than any fantasy anime with mediocre production value, flat world-building, and mixing a compelling story with cute girls while failing at both. I don't know why they are adding a second season. In my opinion, they should have concluded the story in season one. I am pretty sure that if I watched this season without any context, I would have had the same experience as watching it normally. And to be honest with you, I watched this anime waiting for it to be boring, and it delivered on that part.

Random and absurd slice of life comedy that can be relatable at times, each episode is totally random as it is mostly moe comedy that some times goes into full action mode where all the characters start getting serious for silly and hilarious reasons.
Story:
Let's state the obvious, there is no overarching story and it doesn't try to deliver any message but that doesn't mean there's no character development as there are minor character arcs which doesn't ruin the heartwarming experience of the show, I especially found the story of Nano a robot wanting to live a normal life very heartwarming. this show have
...
a random pacing that takes some time to get used to it, absurdity is how to describe Nichijou so it makes sense for it to have an absurd pacing.
Character:
This show have varying main charecters like the cute spoiled 8-year-old Hakase, the expressionless intelligent and prank loving Mai, the energetic simple-minded Yuuko and interesting interactions that don't have the tension most other anime have, and it also have a lot of varying supporting charecters that get their share of screen time.
Art:
Nichijou have a pretty relaxing feel that defines the whole experience thanks to the direction and artstyle that are both unique and fun to look at, add to that its fitting OST that sets the mood very well and a surprisingly fluid animation for slice of life. I like the unique and creative way each shot is visualized adding to its silliness and the use of vibrant and bright colors and good voice acting that amplify their energy be it shy, energetic, lifeless, etc.
Over all a pretty enjoyable, relaxing and funny ride if I turned my brain off as nothing is supposed to make too much sense. I liked Nichijou and even felt invested and I'm sure it stands above many other slice of life anime. I don't see it as a masterpiece Due to the lack of a memorable, deep, well delivered message/theme and plot (this is my take on slice of life) and all charecters aren't deep as the majority can be described accurately with no more than 4 personality traits.
