This Movie of The Celestial Railroad show us many stories about the starry sky, the constellations, accompanied by a concise narrative according to every story, every moment is themed magically by the voices of Males, females and kids, transmitting a natural curiosity along the story and pictures.
The animation is showing elements we see everyday and how combines the world we see with the starry sky, to be precise, it become real when the Milky Way is placed at the beggining as the railway, being as well the start of the many different constellations and stories.
Is quite relaxing while watching and listen to it.

We are talking a 100% of sceneries, no characters around, counting with different storytellers as main characters, sometimes may feels like a documentary about constellations and their phantasies behind. Mention the music is talking about the film as well, gives a total ambience to this travel Goes to different sounds, mixing natural sound and the most imaginative and fantastical music.
The movie had this moments that before and after a single episode, leaves you alone to enjoy or particulary observe something, is curious and is good, as it is to emphasize the narrative is constant and can overwhelm a bit.
More or less, this movie is all about.

Since the first visual encounter, the first scene, angel's egg immerses you into their world, the first melody seemed to be the beggining of a long and inexplicable dream or nightmare and the sensations produced by, the dark and innocuous sky, the bird lying in the air, we could expect anything, the worst, the most astonishing and strange.
And so begins Angel's egg.
Driven by a curious image of a little girl among her lodgings, we discover a egg close to her, as if it had been with her all the time, this girl cares and hoards this egg where she goes like a

extension of her own body, like if losing the egg is lost any hope, everything. Observing how something than strange and with multiples meaning is carried by the hands of a girl around that post-apocalyptic world, where it seems that there is nothing and nobody, a frozen disaster, memories scattered in every place, buildings, houses, in every corner she walk and hide. In this incredible curiuos journey a boy appears in front of her, descending from what seems like an organically constituted army, with a peculiar aspect and movement, the girl instantaly feels fear and inmediatly protect the egg against any possible threat, silence, an important quiet moment and she talk for the very first time "Who are you?". This guy present himself as someone without past or present, without knowing where it comes from or where it goes, who he is or what's his way to follow, but expressing an endearing memory about all around the place.
I think at this moment we start to mold a history about the film, about the ghost of humanity over the place, with the apparent sole purpose of hunting the shadows of the big fishes on the city, once and again. We could see on the movie a reflection of our own reality and inquire what could have happened before, about the biblical quotes the boy makes, what might or might not be the remains of the Deluge or even the suggestion of a second deluge.
Angel's Eggs is a totally subjective, ethereal and retrospective film.
Trying to explain the feeling while watching the movie could be complicated, a myriad of emotions, engulfing yourself in their world, Looking at the girl walking, observing, the unknow men, the "mechanical sun", the devastated place, what happended?. Viewing development is viewing it through her eyes and she does not say much, observing in silence is feel her silence, her loneliness and sadness, is to browse within our own memories and find out which ones could be hers memories, her purpose, her why, her emotions, I think we inquire from the very beginning, ups and downs, but you do not realize when it happens. What happened, happens or will happen, it creates an endearing nostalgia for them.
The more you immerse yourself, the more questions arise and can be a bit heavy, but entertaining, if you do not like the surreal thematic, profound, perhaps this will be not of your total enjoyment.
Angel's egg ultimately, is an extraordinary experience, is something unique and peculiar, the soundtrack is all magnificent, exquisit sound, do not leaves us a moment alone, is present from the most quiet moment until more uncertainty. Simply a beautiful composition that everyone should know.

Is very strange talking about Cathexis, is not my type of serie but surprisingly I could find on this many interesting things.
Being just five (5) music videos, each one of them tell us a different tale based on koji and takuto. If we know just a bit about what is zetsuai or the characters itself are, we can see a passionate way of each one of them, mostly over koji nanjo.
The video clips are totally Surrealist, harsh, a very personal way of presenting the persecution of koji over takuto, we can see strong selfish feelings of love.
I guess the most particular of this

is how we can differenciate both character as an entity, they are so unique with that powerful personality, is sadist watch how they fight against each other, with a kind of invasive personality, they can wrap us with the most sad and painful expression as anger and passion.
The five music videos are represented by different phantasies; The Rock
Idol star tale. The religious-angel tale. The studio tale, centred on koji nanjo recording a theme and watching the artist life view. The vampire hunter tale. The last music video is i guess the most strange of them, the most personal and sad over the characters, as lovers, the crash point of view.
This is very familiar to those 70's - 80's old music video clips, surrealism of lover and different meanings, abstracts stuffs. some scenes are a bit shocking and rude, contains romantics scenes as agressive scenes.

I think this kind of stories and character that drive you to a nostalgic feeling of anime, not just that you can live they world, the problems, the city, the personages so easily, could it be not a complicated drama at first sight, but you get involved into the mysteries behind the Land and the catastrophes they live.
Trying to save their world just being human beings, after the power they obtain, every day could be the last and end of the unique chance they have to save that devastated land and stop the suffering of many lost souls.
A beauty loyal story that become bigger

than their own knowledge awaits for them.

I not easy no find a heavy romantic story, here you can find and see how every personages, all of them get naked piece by piece until his hide fear.
This history is warmly slow, you can read it easily but think suspicious about the characters, is not a secret, what are each of them, but we can barely see, and by that way, how themselves demolish his own walls.
How the three principals personges, become the most high and down moment because of other person. "Is Real what we feel? then i deny it" "lies and lies, I don't care" "My past is never a
...
secret, but, you show me my real past" "avoiding myself from you" "avoiding myself" "love" "it's you".
We can see a romance become something so familiar to us, so close to our reality, very personal, is doesn't matter if is a boy who are living it, we can feel that sort of thing ann make you feel it, at the same moment. And how the dialogues are spread, is just wonderful, every word, and every expression So carefully drawn, the feeeling, if it's a remember, or whatever is, is just amazing.
And the best thing is that every happen time by time, not so fast as other histories, we can complain each moment, each personages. you can love the personages easily. If you never had live something like that, the way how this is made, write and draw, make you understand and feel the moment, it make you "be" the character.
High recommended who like heavy histories of love, who like something so close to Us.
