Aside from the opening sung by Lia, the animation by P.A.Works, the original concept by Key, the character design by Na-Ga, the soundtrack by ANANT-GARDE EYES, the director being Jun Maeda, the similar humor, the special abilities premise, and unusual-yet-not-unusual school setting-- I could go on-- Charlotte purely -feels- like Angel Beats! and vice versa, if that's any indication. Both are great to watch.

Similarities: -KyoAni -high school -literary club turned SOS brigade-esque, seeking to help others/solve problems or mysteries -cutie female lead/ Genki Girl -apathetic male lead/ Deadpan Snarker -typical male student + somewhat abnormal girl who’s interested in EVERYTHING -There is a girl who likes books. -mysterious unfinished confession by second episode -some big plot mystery in the making

Both have the same basic premise: A teenage male transfer student comes to a new town and meets a beautiful, strange, and nonetheless intriguing heroine. Denpa is more comedy and harem with some sci-fi, while Another plays with the horror genre. Both are awesome.
