do you like fantasy? fighting monsters? mythology? a little gaming mechanism (actually there are none)? Then this one is my recommendation.
The only thing people think that this anime has game mechanism is about the level concept, while in my opinion level concept is exist in real world such as having work skills license. So it's not really a game mechanism.
Story: 9/10
I always love this anime. A heroic tale with many conflict, building up power to be stronger, a naive mindset of the MC. If you love the first season, then you'll love this too.
This anime also has a really good battle scene, unlike some "isekai"
...
genere anime, the battle scene was executed so good that moves me. I still remember the minotaur fight scene in the season 1, God that was really a heroic fight.
Also, if you like Greek mythology or Nordic mythology, this anime has BOTH! God, i really love this show.
Art: 9/10
This is purely based on my opinion, everyone has different taste. But, i think this anime has really good art compared to another anime. The art is consistent, i just find it really beautiful, especially about Haruhime.
Sound: 8/10
Good enough, no stupid bgm. The BGM fits with the scene.
Character: 9/10
I really like Belt character. He is a naive person but not dumb. In this arc, he is confronted with a contradicting problem. Should he saves a "slut" which is a symbol of destruction of a hero, or should he leave her alone so that his familia won't get any trouble because his childish mindset.
He is my favorite character after Emiya Shiro (Heaven's Feel route). They both SIMILAR!
Enjoyment: 10/10
Honestly i can't enjoy anime as much as it was. Mostly i only watch 2 animes each season and drop the others. But i really enjoy this one, seriously.
Overall: 9/10
if you like fantasy story, heroic story, good battle scene, just watch this.

I wonder why everyone give a low score for this great adaptation, but in my opinion this is a masterpiece!!! Believe me, this made me cry!!!!
The story is about Willem, he was a Hero who fight for humanity. Fast forward he was lost, and then 500 years later he was found by someone. After he awakes, he found that human race has gone extinct. The story is begin from that.
-Story: 10/10
At the first episode I had a feeling that this could be a great adaptation, and it turn to be correct! This is drama, but NOT cliche one. This is not action, but more
...
to slice of life. You can see the character development as the story goes.
But if you expect action from this series, it won't connect. Maybe that's why lots of people disappointed by this series.
Note: The last episode is the greatest, it made me cry.
-Art: 9/10
The art is not like Ufotabe, but you'll be able to feel the sad atmosphere here. This is definitely suits the anime.
-Sound: 9/10
One of factors that made me cry is the music.
-Enjoyment: 10/10
The story never make me bothered. I'm waiting this every week. FYI, I dropped all this season (spring 2017) animes except this one.
-Overal: 10/10
But like I said, if you like pure action, you might not like this series.

You know, I was really expecting this to be a good anime since I read the manga. But as time goes on, this anime become more absurd and boring to watch.
I think the story starting to be messed up around episode 11. At first, it doesn't really different from manga, but then it's change drastically.
At first, I tried to watch until eps 30, I still had hope of the development in this series. But, heck! This is going worse. The story become more absurd and doesn't advanced at all. Every episodes is fillerd, it was pathetic. I personally recommend you to not watch this shit,
...
but read the manga.
The manga is better, it's 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999% better compared to the anime.
-Story: 1/10
-Art:3/10
The art is messed up too
-Sound
You'll hear same BGM almost in every episodes
-Character: 3/10
Character development is sooooooooooo small compared to the manga
-Enjoyment: 1/10
REALLY BORING
-Overal: 1/10
Pathetic

Ok, this is my first review in myanimelist.
Re:zero is one of much anime which the protagonist is transported to another world. At first, I thought so, I didn't expect too much for this anime. I thought that, "Seriously, Isekai again? This is boring!" but I tried to watch this series because my friend recommended this to me. At first cour, it just like a common anime fantasy, the problem is not that big. It's just like a slice-of-live anime, with shit protagonist. I thought that his ability is cheating, he could revive from dead and change his fate, and I thought that in last, he
...
will suddenly overpowered with power of despair. But then, I was wrong.
The second cour is great, it give me speechless. The problem is too big for him to handle with that weak power that he has, it makes me so curious, what resolution will be, what will he do to fix his situation, hi fails again and again, experiencing despair, and almost run from his situation. But then, the supporting character did her role as it should be. I never think that the first cour would give a very important plot to the story. And then, his resolution give me speechless again. This is so great! I recommend this for you!
Though, the ending haven't completed yet, but it's quite good compared to the cliff hanger ending in another anime adaptation. Well, it's because ... I Love Emilia!!
