* boring plot, not much happens til the last 2 volumes where shit hits the fan. and considering this is a coming of age story, i'd be fine w/ that IF the characters weren't so unlikable help
* almost every character is unlikable. some may argue that that's the point, but i just find it hard to read smth that i have no one to root for. that and everyone gets a little too nihilistic at times like okayyy we get it

tldr; a fun and engaging manga but w/ a weak ending
SPOILERS AHEAD noragami has always been a series i had a soft spot for ever since coming across the anime in middle school. now having finished college and the manga wrapping up earlier this year, i finally decided to pick it up again... positives: * beautiful art and panels * fun and complex characters! i particularly loved yukine's development, as well as the relationships btwn the gods and their shinki. * good worldbuilding and power system ...
