Overall: You should read it if you a sucker for such slice of life genre tragic/sad love stories. It reminds me of that American movie, "50 First Dates" and also the Korean Movie, "A Moment to Remember". If you like those, you would love this manga.

Story: It's amazing how you were taken in by situations that happened and not realize the significance of it until it was mentioned later on in the story. It had a wow effect on me as it also broke news about the character which shocked me. Great way of presenting information and keeping the reader craving for more.

Art: It ... is quality art work that's typical of manga from this period. Not many typical poses that showed off the beauty of the characters. They didn't sell sex (aka sex appeal is not that high) but it's really great at portraying scenes as needed by the story.

Character: Somehow I could understand the feelings of the character through how they were portrayed. You can understand that because of the character type of the female lead, that she would fall for the guy. How the guy would fall for the female lead because of her character too. Not amazing characters but they are interesting enough to sustain interest.

Enjoyment: Somehow each chapter kept me hungry for more to find out what's going to happen next. This story made me feel the pain/aches of being in such a realistic relationship. I seriously couldn't wait to finish the whole story in one go.

This anime kept me hooked. You really have no choice but to continue with the next episode to find out what's going to develop next in the story.

There''s no boring filler (so far anyway) and before you know it, one episode it's over! That's how good it is. You will not find it draggy at all. There's always new challenges and it's amazing how the creator can come up with so many more new items.

It's never boring cause there's so many different aspect of it that is shown with each new challenge. The emotional value attached to the compeittion, the people involved are ... somehow intriguing, the research of the ingredients to make the requirements of the competitions and, of course, the technique of showing the actual competition itself in an almost astronmic way.

The book cover doesn't do justice to the book at all. I kind of rejected it when it was first recommended because it looked aged and boring. Even with the brief summary given, I wasn't too impressed.

Suprisingly, the development of the story is good. It's doesn't just dive straight into the love story like how most shoujo would go. Instead it concentrates on friendship (so far into 3rd volume).

The story is heartwarming, touching and somehow makes me want to read on.

Usually i would skip pages to get to the juicy part but with this manga, the opposite happened. i didn't want to miss out anything! ... It's like i have to read between the lines/expression/body language of the charaters to get what is the hidden message/meaning!

The art work may not look impressive but if you look carefully, it's quite well drawn. Also, my friend who recommended it said that with each volume (as they age) you can see how the characters grow up (literally).

I'm suprised it's not even in the manga data base. This is something that people shouldn't miss out on.

I was attracted by the handsome guy that was feature on the manga cover. When I discovered that it was the heroine of the story, I was so disappointed that I wanted to throw the book aside. Luckily for me, I was out of mangas to read and so I forced myself to read the first chapter. It surprised me with the twisted way the characters were presented. This is so unique compared to the shoujos I've been reading. It pulled me into the story so much that I couldn't wait to read the next volume! This story is able to show the contrast between ... how the characters look and what they really are like. The family setting is also one that's non-sterotype(unless you've been a reader of such genre). I like the way the characters are drawn as well. It may not be as detailed but it does bring out the beauty of each character. Overall, I would recommend it if you want something different. For those who are fans of ouran high school club and the likes, you shouldn't miss out this one.
