I would like to briefly summarize what I liked about the series, and also one of its defects, but properly in the original material. Let's start with the commendable parts:
1) The series as a whole has an excellent world-building that shows us the magic in a world that has forgotten about it, as well as how it affects few individuals who still interact with it.
2) The development of the characters was really exquisite, but it took a long time for a concrete maturation, which in the end led to a satisfactory conclusion of both developments.
3) The secondary characters had a good development, though not as
...
complete. But that added a lot more depth to their relationship with the two main characters and the kind of support they would be from then on.
4) The traumatic past of the character was very salutary at the end of the series, because somehow it showed that the worst time in the character's life was not his daily scourge of seeing supernatural beings, but the trauma itself that he could not overcome.
Now the questionable parts, however, irrelevant to the whole of the work:
1) The dynamics of the series really was slow, and some parts where the episode could end up bridging to the next, so to give a climactic point to the next episode was underappreciated.
2) The protagonist's dangerous journeys were becoming very obvious. The nuance of her always put herself in danger, or always be in trouble when alone left things somewhat anti-climatic.
3) Although it was a different theme from the usual studio Wit, the animation was wishing to have lost its brightness throughout the second cour of the series, which shows that Wit is still establishing itself as a studio, precisely because it is made up of a small team . Even so, this is still a disability, the studio has had a few years to organize.
4) The soundtrack lost its luster too, because it could be much better used in this final bow, which was not! If the director had dared a little more he might have created somewhat better climates in that sense.
Overall it was a good series. I, in particular, am not much interested in themes of fantasy and Slice of Life. I've heard of great anime such as Natsume Yuuijinchou, The Eccentric Family and Kyoukai in the Rinne. But if I were to say today if I became interested, I would say that this work was the gateway. Before I need to make a few comments here: many people will complain about some of the points I mentioned, but the same ones in previews and other pre-work postings spoke wonders about how they liked the original material. To criticize a work having in hand the original material, being that the same one was adapted of correct way, for me this is lack of character! Therefore, I who did not read the original material assure that it is a great series, that has its problems, but that in the set of the work is really good.

I want to do this review, but before I need to tell some truths about the users of MAL: I really find counterproductive revisions on the [profile] page of the work before its end. I do not see problems with certain people developing some kind of hatred for the series, but remember there is a synopsis in the profile, and that if someone read it then you are aware of what will happen when you start your successive episodes. The rule of three, which involves three watched episodes to see whether or not it is worth watching a series is much advocated in the web
...
community, however, few people take this into account and prefer to do a review on the site page where [by except I believe it should be so] there should only be comments of who actually saw the work as a whole, not just three episodes. The forum was made for weekly discussions about each episode. I really hope that My Anime List users who have this kind of practice grow up and stop with that kind of childish attitude.
The supernatural story about certain families who have an artifact that activates temporal powers is really a good premise. In certain respects, Kokkoku manages to pack his mysteries and keep you stuck. Although these premises were interesting, there was something that could really be remarkable in the series. Maybe a stronger direction. However, since I am not a reader of the original material, I could hardly comment. Even so, the series as a whole was interesting, with some unusual events. However, I also have personal complaints about these "happenings", as some scenes of brutality could have been much more striking, but were worked on to reduce gore. That was a loss. Another question is the work of Geno Studio: although a new studio that will have a lot of work to improve, Geno Studio had serious difficulties during the course of the series: some scenes were not well finished, and these technical failures were very evident from the medium to the Last. Scenes from a distant perspective clearly showed these shortcomings, with the designer deforming on certain occasions.
However, I must point out that, although Kokkoku left out in its technical part on several occasions, it was still very busy. But these failures and the lack of a more exquisite direction in scenes that were supposed to be better elaborated really ended up diminishing the quality. Overall, the animation flowed, but the consistency errors were really one point off the curve. I personally would not judge the studio for this one work, since it's a studio that started now, and is still structuring itself with its producer. But Golden Kamuy is coming and will be a good point of evaluation. Anyway, I believe this was a good story, but it had some drawbacks to make the production really good, as, for example, the technical part [consistency], the direction, both general and animation [more elaborate scenes]. I still recommend it.

I've never read Davilman's original material. Maybe anyone who has read can have some complaint. However, the way the series was presented to me in those 10 episodes satisfied me. I still have doubts about some people who complain about this adaptation, contrasting it with the previous ones, since the previous ones even being in the archives of the site have little punctuation, which is strange being that they try to legitimize their claim without sticking to this fact, anyway . For me this series was convincing and different from what I've seen so far.
Sometimes I get the impression that the author plays with the
...
question of different interpretations of what are gods and demons to mankind, so as to show that in some ways mankind has revered them under various forms throughout the ages. This made the justification for the existence of demons throughout the series very interesting. Anyway, for me this series was really amazing, in the way it presented itself. Masaaki Yuasa did his homage to the series in the artistic way he wanted. His surrealistic style served well for this purpose. Although many people complain without knowing the artist he is.

This show was good fun in an original involving two companies. Unfortunately he had a series of holes in the story ending in the open. Something I believe to have a motive behind. Unfortunately I can not explain exactly what that goal would be, as it would hurt the site's guidelines, as has already occurred previously in another comment of mine. Interesting story, music note 10, and ambience very well done. Somehow captivating characters. Highly recommend to anyone who wants something different, but be warned beforehand that there are holes in the history, which may perhaps disappoint some.
That is all

Youjo Senki has an interesting and relatively new premise for me, where an unbeliever is reincarnated in a troubled world in which he needs to turn around, as a trial of a deity who wants him, a cold, calculating man, to gain faith in divinity. His reincarnation in this peculiar world where magic is part of the military makes things much more interesting, giving a mystical touch to war. The narrative of the story, unfortunately, dragged itself for some time, making an exercise of the protagonist simply being invincible. This only came to change from episode 6 onwards. The studio, NUT, founded by former members
...
of the Madhouse, encountered a number of difficulties throughout the adaptation. This, unfortunately, has disrupted the experience of many viewers. However, far from it means that the studio is bad, it was able to stand out and recover from episode 7 onwards.
Youjo Senki ended up with our protagonist seeing to what extent the "Existence X" would go so that he could have faith in him for the first time. Beyond, of course, the world war that would follow from then on because of the weakness and stupidity of the high echelon she served. Youjo Senki is a medium-sized work with an interesting proposal. The play has a series of imperfections and problems in the middle, yet it managed to finish decently. In my analysis, it is a good work.

Made in Abyss offers a unique adventure where there is, from a beautiful world, to the most vivacious expression of absolute terror. The Abyss is not only an unexplored world where inhuman monsters inhabit, but it is also a place where one can lose one's own humanity, becoming, as it were, part of the abyss or literally a monster.
I believe [on my part] that there is nothing more to say other than that this show was literally a work of art. Despite what they talk about Masayuki Kojima, so far, I have not seen anything in his series direction that made me hate him, or
...
say that he lost his talent. Quite the opposite: from Black Bullet to this series I fully believe he's only got it right. Although some play the blame for a certain work he has adapted under his series direction, I believe that in the directional part he is exemplary, even for works that people say [Black Bullet] are not good.
Finally, they adapted to the chapter that I had hoped for, thus giving an excellent closure to the work.

Kakegurui sends us to an elite school where betting decides not only the future of the student, but also the future of his assets and career. For me it is something unheard of in this area. Although I've seen RPG series of games to fantastic fantasy worlds where life is based on games, Kakegurui [at least for me] has brought something unprecedented in proportion to the bets in a realistic way! I intend to be a bit truthful in my criticism, without overdoing it like some people who have entered the show and have often made revisions ahead of time, before they even have even
...
tried a few episodes. The psychological part of Kakegurui for me worked a little more towards the middle, however, it fell a little from the middle to the end. Even then, there were parts that even if they did not work, sometimes they could get some tension in others. You can count on the fingers the episodes that were psychologically strong and others that were somewhat weak.
In this respect, we can get the director's attention. And while I keep in mind the number of episodes that I may consider psychologically "weak," I will not do it here, as I believe people should check for themselves, and also spoiler. I also want to point out that there has been a lack of better [and deeper] development of some characters, which I believe is a deficiency of the adaptation itself and the number of volumes that have been adapted, not having to do with direction. And even though there is not a deep development of the main characters, [something I reiterate: it has to do with the volumes that were adapted, it is not the director's fault, but the arches being adapted] was at least interesting to see how some characters evolving , albeit infrequently, in order to become auxiliaries in the saga of the main protagonist. Kakegurui was an interesting journey through the betting world in a dress never seen before [by me at least], and I recommend it to anyone who likes the theme. Although this first adaptation did not bring a darker aspect of the elite bets --- as the play proposes --- I believe that for whoever finishes it the manga will be able to reserve great surprises.

Little Witch Academy came up with an interesting premise - though not a new one - for a new Trigger series. Yoshinari as director is showing his maturation. Although the first episodes passed the impression of an experimentation, from the middle of the first cour of the series we could see sketches of serious development, small changes of tone that would make you see the characters and the story not as something episodic, as sometimes Gave the impression. The development of the main character, Akko was somewhat inaccurate, but managed to consolidate throughout the series. My only complaint with the director would be the beginning,
...
which, as I said, passed the impression of experimentation, and also with the fact that there was no further development of the other characters; Something that the direction was due. Still the plot and the plot gave a good taste to this deficiency of the direction of the series, and knew to work with her.

Although some problems - not of production, because technically the anime was above the average - of choices, like, for example, the use of CG in some occasions and, especially, the use of him in the Colossal Titan, the anime itself It went well. Taking away these little bad choices. The director throughout this season has been to me moderately well. His direction was to let the work follow its natural linearity, as in the manga. Some emotional strengths could have been more explored, if in case the chief executive wanted to, but even so, the voice actors did a perfect job for themselves. Apart
...
from some poor technical choices, I would say that this season followed without major problems, and ended decently.
