Very underated show.

The two main protagonists have great chemistry and we slowly learing more about their past and how they got to pair up. The show so far is basically 5 different incidents starting with the opening act in one episode and the closing act in the next, so I understand why some people wouldn't enjoy that and would prefer a more stright storyline. Personally i loved it. We got to see more of how magic works in this world and who are the real enemies.

The animation was better than what i expected, but i was mostly impressed by the creativity of each arc and ... the twists that i couldn't predict at all. It ends on a cliffhanger so i'm really hoping for a season 2

Very underrated. I get the whole isekai thing might throw someone off considering how many of those anime are out there, but this one for me passed the test.

Interesting MC and supporting characters (especially Rose who at times is the real protagonist). The writing and art style is good although nothing really special.
It's not like Shield Hero although i can see why someone would find similarities, but it's more on the lighter side. It has the right amount of comedic relief to balance the darker stuff.

Personally i found it very entertaining and i hope there's a season 2 eventually.

Kinda weak storyline covered with excellent animation.

I have no idea what's going on through MC's mind. In the beginning he kept saying how he did all those jobs because of his mother and sister, and once he gained abilities we never saw him again worry about those two. Someone might say, it's on purpose to show that he's detached from reality and he's focused on leveling up and find the cure for him mother, but they clearly fail to adapt that to screen. Also the fact that he turned from a shy, sweet boy to a cool, unafraid and borderline rude dude in the ... span of 2 episodes, is so rushed that i kinda found it funny.

Other characters seem like could be interesting, but they never get a chance to shine. It's like 3 minutes of other characters and 18 minutes of MC fighting alone some monsters each episode.

I don't know if there's a second season coming, but i hope they'll try a bit more to feel for MC or any character, because right now they're all one-dimensional and the entire focus of every single episode is the fights.

This has one of the most ridiculous premises i've ever seen. A school pairs students to play husband and wife and has them living together in a flat filled with cameras. According to how lovey-dovey they behave with each other they get points and if they don't they lose points....

FYI at no point anyone explains why. Why there's a practical marriage or what happens if you just don't care to participate in. They never bothered to explain why there's such a programme in the first place and why nobody is creeped out by it.

Anyway, our characters are Jirou (a truly boring young man), Akari (the ... hot popular gyarou) and Shiori (the cute innocent childhood friend). At the beginning we learn that Jirou and Shiori like each other but are too afraid to admit it, so they hope to get paired together.
As you can imagine, our hero gets paired with the hot popular girl instead. You don't need to have any wild imagination to figure out the rest of the story. In the end, both girls want him, which i can't accept because he's so average at everything and he doesn't even do something to justify that adoration. It looks like girls are desperate for any form of intimacy and he's just there.

Most of the episodes are filled with close-ups to Akari's breasts to distract you from all the terrible writing.

Overall, if you don't take it seriously, you might enjoy it. I definitely didn't or maybe i enjoyed how bad it was.

I really enjoyed it. While it's not the best or the most interesting slice of life anime out there, it definitely wasn't as bad as some reviews made it out to be.

I understand that the mysteries they try to solve aren't very exciting most of the times, but what did you expect from high-school kids? To solve murders or ATIA?

I think this is also the beauty of this anime. Just a bunch of kids playing detectives. Nothing big or supernatural, just everyday fun.

Sadly, it seems that it won't be a season 2 so if you want closure or some sort of indication ... for the future of our protagonists, you won't find it here.

While on the surface it seems like the story is about a girl teasing and torturing a guy just for the fun of it, it quickly becomes obvious that this story is actually very inspiring and a perfect example of slice of life.
Through unorthodox methods and superficial teasing both get character developement and as a result you see them understanding and supporting each other. Nagatoro starts as annoying who teases her "Senpai" for her won amusement, but it doesn't take long for you to see that she actually likes the guy and helps him come out of his shell, forcing him to see that ... he's talented and worthy and that he must stood out for himself and defend him when someone else tries to hurt him. Yes, she never stops using the pervert jokes as a defence mechanism but you've got to be blind to not see that she's also very inexperienced and has a fear of letting herself appear vulnerable and she only does it in rare moments with him.

All in all, i really enjoyed the anime. I don't know if a 2nd season would be a good idea, but don't listen to negative reviews. It's a feel good anime, not an abusive one.

While you pretty much know what you're going to see and how the story will unfold just from the poster, it's amazing how great of a job they did with this movie. The characters are the strong point of this movie imo, with Tsuneo and Josee's relationship being the obvious highlight, but there's also great writing overall.

There're other reviews that detailed the goods and bads of this movie, but for me, i enjoyed it more because i didn't read any reviews and just sat on a lazy afternoon and saw it. It filled me with emotions i wasn't expecting and i definitely recommend this to ... anyone.

After the very first episode i had high hopes for this show, but the next 12 episodes proved that it was a waste of my time.

The story is about 2 characters basically, Sayu (a runaway teen) and Yoshida (an older guy who's struggling in the romance department). Despite that in the beginning you get the sense that Yoshida is a nice guy who really wants to help Sayu and keeps remind her that she's still a kid, guess what happens in the end? Yes, but don't worry, she's an "adult" now, so it's fine...

I'm not gonna spoil what happens to go from a to b, ... but let's just say that each episode feels more and more rushed and incoherent than the previous one. It takes a lot of effort to accomplice that in a single season of 13 episodes.

I'm kinda disappointed with this film. Kyoto Animation usually provides powerful moments in their films, but this one lack any. It's a plain, simple story with no powerful moments, no heartache, no joy, etc. They kept everything to a mimimum and maybe that's what they were aiming for and if that's the case, they did a brilliant job.

I'm not saying the film is bad, i'm saying it's forgetable. There's not a single scene that stands out or makes you want to see it again.

The characters are in that point of life where they must decide their future and you have the typical "will ... they - won't they" lovestory, but even that fell flat.

I really liked that art and the music and i think the voice actors did a great job. But like i said, the weak point is the actual story.

When i decided to watch this anime, i did it with very low expectations because some of the reviews were so negative and the 7.3 rating didn't make it exciting for me. THEY WERE WRONG!

This is one of the best anime out there. 25 episodes of an extremely complicated storyline could never be an easy task. Surely, there are episodes less good than others, characters that were never developed properly, storylines that never went anywhere or storylines we wanted to see but never did. So what?

This anime has a strong team of characters and a complicated storyline with very deep meanings and the perfect ... closure. What more could you ask for? I could go on details why i loved this anime, but it would be difficult witout spoiling stuff, so i won't. I can honestly say though, that this show filled my heart and it gave me a wonderfly story from start to finish.

The art, the music, the writing... i loved everything!
