The show has a very weird vibe that highlights a some level of romantic relationship between a grown man and high school teenager who ran away from home. Now even though he never accepts her advancements the facts that it seems that he’d consider it feels kinda weird. She has him blushing and sleeping in bed with her and stuff. It just feels kinda weird, eventually the relationship grows into a more parental relationship where she has a crush on him and, he knowing this, still lets her sleep in bed with him. I guess it’s normal for teenagers to have occasional crushes on adults
