sorry for my improper grammar cuz its 2am and idc. ** Slight spoilers** and **TW** so be aware of that. now to my review.

I've watched yaoi before and this one was different in good and bad ways. most yaoi in general is rape or kid on adult. so what made me enjoy it somewhat was the abnormal tropes and art (for its time). Usual tropes would be a super obvious bottom and a super sexual top or something. This one is somewhat those general tropes but toned down. the slight rape involved did make me uncomfortable as with many yaoi. I'm quite glad the ... series was only about an hour, so not too much suffrage. the plot in the second ep was kinda just weird... I guess u can say in a cute way but this series was not needed. what I did like was the senpai being tsundere and hot so uh ya! i did enjoy that it was between two adults and not a child. the uh- sound (sex scenes in general) was like out of hentai. i didn't rate this high cuz yaoi is weird but its better than most I guess, not really since the rape.

sorry if this review confused anyone considering I didn't really think this through. so its all over the place but to me I still get my thoughts through all of the subjects I had to rate. um tbh u might still want to watch and skip the "sex scenes" cuz there's no important dialogue in those scenes, SO U CAN SKIP THOSE. thank you for reading my 2am thought...have a great day

I thought it was going to be wholesome but i guess not. But to be honest watch it for the shits and giggles. Everything about this anime was pure wack. I didn't expect anything that happened in the second half. Also 1st ep was kind of fast.

Honestly Makoto was the biggest asshole i've ever seen in anime. He didn't respect any of the girls which made me feel disgusted a bit. He changed real quick tho lol. I really expected him to stay innocent and sweet the whole time. He developed in the worse way ... possible. He was just so harsh to all the girls and they didn't really care which then confused me. But he really did have a fucking foursome LOL. TBH Makoto is the biggest surprise as in what he did cuz it was a 50/50 chance he would've stayed innocent.

Bro, let's talk about Sekai. She was so problematic. She started the whole circle of shit. But she did try to stop Makoto so she's ok for that. She could've minded her own damn business from the start. Like she helped him even tho she liked him. I get in anime/manga the girl/boy wants to see the person they like be happy but she was just full of drama as Makoto kind of states in like the 1st ep. In like the first few eps I can relate to her, considering i'm around her age and always the third wheel for my friends.

I also do want to say somethings about Kotonoha. She gets bad shit crazy in the second half. Like she could not handle what was going on even tho I think Makoto didn't clearly say they broke up, so i can't completely blame her. I'm telling you the second half is where everything goes down. She goes wild. She does things I didn't expect from her considering she was also very innocent in the beginning. I couldn't help but notice that her little sister Kokoro was ALL UP in her biz. And she knew everything like she was an adult. Also her friend in one of the festival eps is a little too mature for their age. The 16 yr olds didn't even know what was happening.

Otome is not the girl. First she's named after "Otome Games" so I thought that was funny. She's the bitch of the show. A bully for no reason, got a whole clique, ya know the package. Kind of annoying... She's pretty stupid for not caring about a damn thing Makoto does tho which pisses me off. But you gotta have these types of characters.

Setsuna is a whole different breed. Kinda hard to read but kinda says and does what she wants. She wants Sekai to be happy with Makoto. I don't like how she doesn't understand that Makoto and Sekai can't be together their whole lives. Like he can't be with her to stay by his side. My boy got shit to do. She's an ok character tho.

HIKARI, I'm at a loss for words. Towards the end of the series she really tries to get Makoto to do the right thing. BUT he's an asshole so he won't listen to her. Hikari is probably my favorite even tho she does something with Makoto. She's the most normal out of the bunch throughout the whole series. I get she's bored or mad that the guy she likes is too dense to notice that she likes her so she gets it on with Makto.

Story- 4/10
You know the story was great but wack. I can't accept certain things that happen. Like the concept is nothing I've seen in anime before. The plot was a bit wack too.

Art- 4/10
I don't prefer this older art style. It's decent given what year it came out. So this was mostly based off of personal preference.

Sound- 6/10
I give it a 6 b/c I didn't really listen to the OP or ED so I can't give my full opinion. But of what I heard it was ok.

Character- 3/10
Okay, I liked the characters but didn't like them. Like they were amazing b/c again I haven't really seen anything like this but, I disliked them for their actions. I get it adds to the plot or whatever.

Enjoyment- 5-7/10
It was just interesting to watch and see the plot "develop". You just get surprises like you do in anime so I enjoyed it to an obvious extent.

Overall- 5-7.5/10
Once again the characters actions just piss the fuck out of me.But some of it was like WHOA now that's what I like to see. So it varies for me throughout the show

uuummm...my final for you. I say watch it b/c it's an experience. I can't say if it's good or bad but I know it's interesting. So just give it a try I don't think the ending was anything anyone expected. It was all kind of stupid. And I think that's all I can really say about this anime, stupid and wack.

Last thing, the ending as in the last few scenes of the last ep were a bit confusing (confusing in a way where it wasn't necessary).

Ok so I really loved the concept of it. My only real problem was the dub. Yes, I watch dub and to be honest this was one of the worst dubbed anime I've ever watched. So if you're a beginner anime watcher please don't watch this in dub. Most of the main voice actors I've heard before but they all did a horrible job even though they've done an amazing job in other anime. The art style seemed really simple in my opinion. I liked the isekai aspect of it too and being an otome game. Endings are usually make or break and the ending ... was well put. Also the characters can be super annoying given that they're all based off of liking Katarina. Katarina herself can be annoying because of how oblivious she is to everyone and everything. I did like the maid and her little story. Overall the anime was about a 7.5/10 for me. The main reason why I liked it was that it was an otome game and usually game isekai are shounen so it was great to see something new. I think that's all for my review. Also this is my first review and as you can tell I wasn't so passionate about this anime. Sorry for my lack of knowledge.
