I'll just say it straight away: don't expect something profound, expect good action scenes and some cliche monologues.

If you're going in expecting what I just told you to expect, then you're going to enjoy this show.. 12 episodes of good sweet justice.
The good guy gets his revenge and kills the bad guys in many different ways. You won't need to remember stuff from past episodes, you won't need to search for theories regarding who actually killed X character and blablabla.

Characters:
Characters range from decent to good in terms of likability. Again, don't expect to learn about their past and stuff.. they're not even named.

Story:
Couple bad guys ... here, couple bad guys there.. kill'em all and here we go again.
The main character is not invincible for a change, and he actually depends on his wit.

Animation:
I didn't like the usage of CG, but it's pretty good overall. You'll get to see a lot of fights and they're entertaining.

I really liked the first episodes, however, as I continued watching it, by the 8th or 9th episode I managed to get why so many people were giving it low scores.

Many characters feel empty and underdeveloped. There were some interesting ones like Kikuchiyo and Ukyo but they weren't able to redeem all the others.

Many characters get straight up weird when the story is near its conclusion, and it has so many loose ends.. it makes you wish that they'd made it only 12 or 13 episodes long.

It has some CGI and for 2004 it looks pretty lit, however, the quality is not consistent. Every now ... and then, It turns into one of my Paint drawings I made back when I was 11 or 12.

I didn't pay attention to the OST, but I think it's pretty good. I really liked the opening and ending songs.

I enjoyed watching it, but that's it. It's not great and not that bad.
They could've made it better.
