I don't usually write reviews, but this one was a ride, and overall I would actually say I actually liked this anime. Most characters are believable, i could see them responding in the way they did if a human was put in the same position. with the sole exception being our main character, who has a willpower the strength of a goddamn diamond. The premise is good and one that has been rarely explored. However, there is one thing that bothered me as the series went on, something that was never addressed, something that made the premise kind of irrelevant and implausible.
It's in the synopsis,
...
our MC is brought to another world, not someplace on earth, he is teleported there by technology, not magic. That's right, the antagonists have the technology to traverse worlds at will, seemingly without any real limit to what they can bring along with them, this seems to cost a lot of power of course, but, in this desert world, they have seemingly learned fusion power, and it seems it can basically be powered solely on water. Water in this desert world is simply OP in more ways than one, it's a pretty scarce resource, but artificially so. What is stopping them from just draining our ocean of water? I don't recall them ever saying the teleporter can't teleport water, or any other restriction like it costing equal amount of water for the volume transported. But even then. Why do they stay in their inhospitable world instead of resettling in another world (like ours)? I just can't find an explanation for this plothole.
If this was addressed somewhere and i just missed it, then i'll happily change my rating to a 7 from 4, but as it is now, the good and interesting premise is undermined by the fact that the entire premise is easily avoidable before the story even begin because of how our MC is teleported to this world.
