Just finished Bonnouji a minute before, and i got the feeling to write a review for it, because i absolutely delighted with this manga. This manga is what they should call "the real" slice of life-romance manga, because its really "slice of life" and there's enough romance portion in the storyline to maintain the slice of life feel. No exaggerated love-scene. I really enjoy reading this manga.
The story is so light, so unique, and just like i said, the portion of every genres tagged to this manga is great enough. I really like to see how the MCs, Ozawa and Oyamada, with their own personalities
...
and problems, developed their love story from zero point to the most climax point a love-story could reach. What i meant was, the story told us how they formed their mutual feelings from the moment they first met (and that moment was not same as we found in most other romantic manga. That meeting moment was so natural for the MCs, based on their personalities, and added more slice of life impression to the story) until they got married. It's so rare to find this kind of story. There's even some sex scenes that embellish their love story (LOL i love that scene :D ).
Of every slice of life story i'd ever watched and read, Bonnouji is one of my favorite. I gave it 9 out of 10.
The characters are so unique, especially the MCs. Ozawa, the heroine, is a woman who was in her age of maturity and was being in suiable age for marriage, suddenly broke up with her boyfriend she lived with for 5 years long. And there's Oyamada, a loner guy who was live in an eccentric room thanks to his brother who sent many random things (yes, very random, like sculptures, sunglasses ,and even glow-in-the-dark condom). What unusual characters, right? That's an extra good-point for this manga, since it developed the story and the characters consistently.
I gave it 9 out of 10.
For the art, i gave it 7 because it's kinda sketchy, but i still like it. The panels was suitable and neat enough to be called "enjoyable".
I unexpectedly enjoy this manga, because when i began to read Bonnouji, i didn't put too much expectation. Overall, 9 out of 10, for you who was looking for some slice of life story to read; who wanted to read some interesting love story; who wanted to see a sweet lewd scene :D ; i recommend this enjoyable manga, Bonnouji.

Hahaha damn! I was laughed so hard when read the last chapter, REALLY I MEAN IT! What was that?! Imagine a story that was developed so good, then all of the possibilities on how the story would goes closed, and the resolves compressed IN A CHAPTER! I don't know what to say. Is this what people call 'twist ending' or 'forced ending'? I think this manga did the latter.
I kinda disappointed at how the story ended. I had read some short mangas that also have roughly 2-3 volumes, and they did good at developed the story till it ended. But this manga is different.
Ok, let's
...
do a proper review.
The story: 7/10
Okay, the story of this manga is somehow mentioning future, when some people (who appeared to be some loli) came from the future to save a person whose the 'seeds' may become a savior of the world later. Do you know what are the 'seeds'? Sperms. Yes, sperms. Actually their duty is to keep a high school boy's sperms from villains who was ordered to kill the boy who somehow will become a world's hero's father. What an interesting premise, right? (Did you get what i said? If you didn't, i'm sorry for my bad english :D and then jump to the last paragraph to see my overall part.)
From this point, i suggested you to assume that this manga has a lot chapters, because that's what i did when i wrote this review. Why did i do that, because when i read this manga i somehow put some hope on the story. It was a good sci-fi comedy story with many funny moments and sometime (or rarely) the MC throwed a short parody tsukkomi that made the scene more hilarious. Unfortunately, signs of a 'forced ending' (or so i say) began to show up at the last pages of the 13th chapter (the one before the last.)
Yeah, it's not like i totally hated the way this story went. I appreciated every manga and anime i enjoyed. Actually, if the 'forced ending' i said was true, this manga did a good job (yes, good, at least.) The resolve put in the last chapter was a plausible one, even though there were some long-long-long explanations that the characters should had to said (and yet they were roughly made sense.)
That's the flaw part, in my opinion. Actually there's a part in this story that I REALLY LOVE IT SO MUCH LOL!! Unfortunately, if i tell it here it would become a huge spoiler to you all the readers, so read the manga if you curious :D
The art: 8/10
I actually do not really understand about art and how someone made a manga, but i think this manga has a good art and tidy panels, the character art is also consistent. In my opinion, who is just a mere manga reader, this manga doesn't has any flaw in it's art.
The character: 8/10
Great characters, and hilarious to see that every character has its own way to make a funny scene, like the MC, an almost-shut-in high school student who found himself being protected by a badass loli robot (?) came from the future, or another loli who is the one in charge on that duty. There was a good potential in developing the characters, or maybe (in my opinion) every one of them can have their own arc, if the story was not ended so early.
The enjoyment: 8/10
Like another short story, this manga is like a wind, that is so good to be felt, but it's just for a moment. But after all, i enjoyed every chapter of this manga that consistently funny in its own way.
Overall: technically it's 8/10 if you count the average rate. But personally i gave it 7 out of 10, maybe because of that 'disappointed feeling' i had after read the last chapter. I still felt it, i hope the author is so generous he would make a sequel :( I mean it, since it's rare for me to like a sci-fi manga.
Finally, for you who is looking for some lolis; who is like sci-fi manga; who is looking for a 'twist ending' ; who needs some SHORT manga to fulfill your boredom; i recommend this funny manga.

Sorry for my bad english, since this is my second review, so ... yoroshiku onegaishimasu :)
Actually i was looking for a funny manga when i accidentally saw this 14-sai no Koi's synopsis and noticed there's something wrong with the chapters.
But honestly, i kinda satisfied i found this manga, because it's really enjoyable to read and has its own fun parts. Well, this manga story is about a couple junior high school that forced themselves to act mature at school, Kanata and Kazuki. But at the time they're both alone, they showed their childish and weak side to each other.
At first, i thought the story would
...
be focused at how they keep their act at public, but i was wrong. It dominantly told us about their romance story and how the story developed. The story is very light and seems to be enjoyable to be followed.
The unusual parts is, this manga has a lot chapters with decimal number. You know, like chapter 18.5 and 21.5 (i don't know what it is called) and this is what i was talking about when i said there's something wrong with the chapters (imagine this manga already had 54 chapters, when the main story's still reached chapter 23). Even with this odds, but i like it since they're funny and still told us about the main story.
Even though this story's premise is about a 'mature' couple at first, but the story is not always about them. It's also told us about some romantic development of other characters, like a delinquent who fell in love with a teacher, or a transfer student who put its attention to some beautiful stranger, etc. I gave the story 8.
The art is not bad, even though it isn't looked like nowadays mangas. I gave it 7 for the art, since it's still enjoyable.
The characters, like i said before, this manga isn't just focused on the MCs. I gave 8 for it, since almost all of the funny parts was because of the character's personality. And of course, i enjoy reading this manga.
Overall, i gave 8 out of 10 for this school romcom story. If you are looking for some school-life romantic scenes, i recommend this manga.

This is my first review, so ... yoroshiku onegaishimasu :)
*Maybe contains spoiler. But, so what? You perhaps would already know the storyline after saw the cover. Let's review.
What? It's already over?! If i recall, i just started to read this manga a couple hours, and it's over?
Of course, it just 14 chapter long, and that's what made me kinda disappointed. The premise is suprisingly interesting at first: a single boy that already left behind by all of his classmates at finding their boyfriend/girlfriend, and when he began to feel down, a cute transfer student came.
Yes, they both will fell in love each other in the
...
middle of the story, but since the story is kinda short, the progress of their relationship was looked too fast and the girl's feeling was kinda forced to love him. If the story was continued to make it longer, i think the story would be more enjoyable. That's why i gave 8 for the story.
That's for the flaw part, in my opinion. For the other things, i gave them 9. I like this manga's art, it's beautiful. Then the characters were awesome, well-suited for its great art (especially the heroine, i think i love her hehe :D ). The characters' personalities were also good enough for short story. I absolutely enjoy reading this manga (since i want to see the heroine has more screen)
Overall, (almost) 9 out of 10, i would recommend you to read it if you like well-looking heroine and light-romance story. Trust me, your two-hours of time reading this won't be wasted.
