The story is a bit weak, its more like a bunch of little slice of life episodes but things do happen and the characters do get fleshed out in a consistent way. Its upbeat, by that I mean it skirts around the nastiness usually associated with ayakashi and characters are not killed off, no blood and gore, the artwork and music is good. Its kind of like comfort food, it doesn't do anything too surprising but still is enough to keep me entertained. My wife and I can watch it together. The only thing I have a problem trying not to look at too closely
