Mixed Feelings
More of a content warning than a review:

So I was kind of enjoying this weird 30 minute music video OVA thing where the vocal mixing sounds like the guy is singing out of a shoebox when all of a sudden in the third or fourth song the n@zi symbol suddenly shows up very prominently on the blonde guy's armband and took me right out of the moment. It was rotated so it was definitely what I thought it was. I'm honestly not sure what they were trying to say? Is it a seriously misguided aesthetic choice? Was that part of the original anime?

I really don't ...

I am leaving a review for episode 4 alone. This is the single greatest episode of an anime I've ever seen. It's the episode about the pink haired guy and it's the story of how he and Yuuta skip school because he got a phone call and so they hitchhike their way to town with lady who has been waiting for her son Carlos to show up for 10 years so they can hang up a sign together, who is also a so-called professional singer who can't sing worth a damn for some reason. Then the generic anime debt collector squad shows up and Yuuta ...

Sometimes, more isn't better. That sums up my feelings. I finished Wedding Peach and I thought these would be maybe 4 more episodes to see if these would serve an an epilogue of sorts. Instead, they wiped all the characters' memories and it's 4 pointless stories that are just showing the girls' underclothes and bras and stuff.

Who is this for? Certainly not for anyone who enjoyed the spirit of the original. The staff must've been ridiculously horny or something, it's actually ridiculous and wholly to the detriment of the show. Like, what even is this?

It feels like 4 random side episodes with strangers who ...

Mixed Feelings
I loved this series when it was a gag series about having a bit of fun with anime tropes, but then Kai shows up somewhere in the middle and the series loses all of its charm.

The first half is 10/10 fun, with 10/10 characters and an interesting enough mystery.

The second half is 0/10 fun, all the melodrama, and retreading plot lines Vanguard has done in other shows and a movie already. Vanguard should get an award for the most amount of times they've done the exact same story in the shortest amount of time. At least Marvel waits to recycle their plots.

You can literally pin ...

From the mind of Osamu Tezuka (of Astroboy fame), the story is about four space explorers who drift in space after an accident wrecks their ship. They then spend their time trying to figure out what happened to their mysterious 5th crewmate.

It's 48 minutes of the most baffling decisions I've ever seen an anime make. For that reason alone, it's worth watching. As a serious product, it's dreadful. Its redeeming qualities are few, and mainly only centered around the great visuals. As an unintentional comedy, however, it's a perfect 10.

As soon as I saw that one guy's nose, I knew the cheese factor was going ...
