Both series take place in Feudal Japan, with some aspect inspired by Japanese mythology with Immortal being more grounded. The two series are also fairly violent with many fight scenes. The main difference is in tone, where Dororo is overall more light-hearted while Immortal is a 100% seinen show.

Little witch academia is the truly the fulfillment of the spirit of kiki's delivery service into a full tv series. The main parallel is that both have a young female protagonist who are striving to become witches. The difference is that the tone and style. Kiki follows the convention of ghibli's, which is a beautiful presentation with a sweet and laid back story. While little witch academia wholly subscribes to the gainax/trigger convention which is bombastic action, slick animation and a particular comedy.

Both animes are about anime. Shirobako is mostly about the creation of anime itself, animating, voice acting, and the producing of said anime. Girlish number is about anime but lends a little more towards the voice actor side with a focus on the seiyuu/idol experience of promoting the anime they star in.

Both are created by the same author so they have clear similarities. They both have witty characters and almost always have something satirical to say about anime, life, culture, relationships, exc. Both draw their roots from light novels so the dialogue is very dense, and have lot of meaning to them that one cannot will miss if they gloss over it.

There are quite a few parallels that can be drawn with both series, some superficial others more deep. One skin deep parallel would be that both shows have a fairy-like mascot character that follows the main character that happen to both be named "puck"(though puck is not present in the 1997 anime). Subaru and Guts share a lot of similar types ordeals, that which develops their characters through unimaginable suffering. Also it should be noted that Subaru has an attraction to "maju's" and Guts, not in this series however, is more or less haunted by demons and apparitions of the apostles and god hands. Both causes problems that it drags them into conflicts concerning the story and characters. Lastly, both shows are spectacularly violent to the point of nauseating gratuity, a rather unexpected similarity for Re:zero to have. Both are happen to also be fantasy grounded, while Re:zero differing from Berserk from tagging along the shounen cliches that that type of show attributes (excluding the somewhat unique plot device of time travel) to while Berserk is solely a seinen masterwork.

Similar in the fact that there are lots of tertiary romances and drama on top of the main story. Main difference is the setting, college vs highschool and Golden Time is more "in depth" with it's drama.

It might seem a like a weird comparison but I think both show have things in common. For one, they both use, relatively, more realistic art style then other animes which makes it stands out. They both do an amazing job of making the viewer feel uncomfortable in a variety of moment throughout both shows. They are both comedies but they differ in that prison school is an ecchi show. While Sakamoto is episodic and the comedy draws on the fact that the main character is impenetrable, like Saitama form OPM.

I feel like both shows are similar in a lot of ways. The most obvious is that Megumin and Rikka are the same character. The tone of both shows is mostly light hearted. The sort of childish, over the top, delusional, battle scenes that briefly took place in chuunibyou is fully realized in konosuba as a full blown fantasy rpg. The main difference is that chuunibyou is a romance, while konosuba is a distinctive ecchi comedy.

...then you might like Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru add

Both shows deal with the mysterious death of ordinary, everyday people. Some stories are episodic showcasing the lead up and how and why the people died the way they did. The differences are that Death parade deals with the supernatural approach concerning the after life, while Sakurako is closer to reality, focusing on the forensics and investigation of each case.

Both shows have a similar realistic and contemporary feel in atmosphere and tone to certain extent. They both have characters who are geniuses that use their powers for iniquitous motives. Subete ga F ni Naru however is much more nuanced and has superb writing compared to latter.

Both shows seems be psychological centered and are avant-garde-esque in presentation and directing. The two shows also contains lots of cryptic and often, ambiguous dialogue and imagery (and sometimes the imagery is very unsettling), which little of is spelled out for the viewer. There are also esoteric references to computers and programming in both.

...then you might like Gangsta. add

Though on the one hand, both these series have different atmospheres and settings they they share quite a bit in structure and plot. Both have factions warring against each other. They have people who are incredible powers to fight pitched battles. The two shows have lots of side characters with drawn out back stories that are played out in both stories.

Both series are high fantasy, action adventure shows. In the two shows, there is a main focus on a going on a journey to accomplish a set goal. In Shingeki no Bahamut, that goal is for the group to bring Amira to Heilhelm and also to stop Bahamut. While in Rokka no yuusha, the goal is to defeat the demon king. The main difference is the Rokka no Yuusha deviates from the main goal by spending a lot of time focusing on character conflict happening between the group of the supposedly six Brave members. Whereas in Shingeki no Bahamut, there is no such conflict and is more linear story-wise in comparison.

There are a few superficial similarity that can be drawn with both shows. One being that they both have a female antagonist being the top of a their respected school or academies. And also that their mothers have even more control then the daughters. In kill la kill, it could be argued that show's antithesis are fighting about clothes and fashion, while Shimoneta, they are fighting for the suppression of anything sexual or promiscuous. Also both shows are incredibly ecchi and lewd. They differ from being a fighting show and the latter strictly being a comedy.

Sort of difficult to explain the correlation between these but I feel that the atmosphere and some of the story telling aspects are mirrors of one another

Both Mangas are very dark, mature, bloody, violent, horrific, and all things that make a good seinen. They both have the premise of fighting to survive, aliens and Zombies with the latter. They also are similar in that later in their stories they things become extremely grandiose in scale and that affects humanity on an existential level. Though they both possess a similar tone, they differ greatly in approach with characterization . As Gantz is more of the cliche cool/bad ass guy that kills everything with his friends, while I am a Hero follows a guy the opposite, being delusional, socially awkward and a bit of a pacifist in a world outbroken by zombies.

If you liked I Am a Hero add

...then you might like Gakkougurashi! add

Very similar in feel in both manga in the sense of the zombie apocalypse. Both manga feel extremely bleak, fighting hard to survive as all of society has crumbled. They differ from School-Live being a moe/light-hearted at times and I am a Hero being a more realistic and bonafide horror/survival manga.

Both shows are centered around the underground, crime filled lifestyle. Both of the shows are influenced by drugs, gangs, sex, and violence which add together into the overall gritty, slummy, and bleak atmosphere. Michiko to Hatchin differs however by having a quite different approach to it's story by presenting a more linear plot while Gangsta' story line appears to be driven more through character development.

Both Mangas have main characters who live with a young mother who has a much older husband. Conflict arises when the main characters sees potential interest in their mother. Me-Teru does the story different by the main character being a shut-in and trying to grow as a person. While Mama is a more traditional high-school flavor story with ecchi and drama filled scenes.

Both animes have a premise, death note being the death note, and parasyte being the parasyte. Both shows have characters that build and develop around this premise. which in turn also creates a thicken plot and interesting set pieces of story.

Both shows have the main cast in an astronomy club. Both shows also have characters that have premonitions about the future to warn their friends. The two animes have sense of mystery and with a bit of romance. The only major difference is that Brynhildr is focused on fighting.

If you liked Nozoki Ana add

...then you might like Shounen yo Taishi wo dake! add

Both are about sex and college life. Both have girls that are female dominant and or they are a bit mysterious. Shounen yo taishi wo dake is a bit different by being more akin to genuine character development later on in the chapters, though both mangas seem to be come off as superficially as sex and perversion, this is the case more so with nozaki ana.
