Not much needs to be said here. It's a top tier ecchi fanservice show. Lots of tentacles, yuri, bdsm, among numerous others. This show went above and beyond the manga and ramped up the lewd levels, which was very much appreciated.
The characters were enjoyable, especially Utena, the main character. Her voice actress did an excellent job considering she's very new to the industry.

Unfortunately this manga very clearly was not able to reach the conclusion the author was looking for. It ends extremely abruptly with numerous plot lines left unsolved. Art is good and the yuri is nice, but the abrupt ending is disappointing. I was wondering how the plot would be wrapped up in the last few chapters only to find it doesn't get wrapped up much at all.
I wish I could outright recommend this, but due to the previously mentioned issues with the plot not concluding, it's hard to recommend someone invest their time into this. Story - Decent but unfinished Art - pretty good, especially ...

This is my first review, but this series made me compelled to vent some feelings.
To be honest, if you're looking for a good sequel to an otherwise good show, this is NOT the show you're looking for. Shugo Chara! Party! is mostly filler content, with VERY little relevance to the main story. The series mainly revolves around a filler character who is training to be a new Guardian. Another very large issue I have with this show is that of the 25 minutes we get, 10 minutes of Live Action/Shugo Chara extras, 10 minutes of actual anime, and 5 minutes of OP/EP. Half the show ... |
