Simply Underrated, can't understand why people hate it so much.
I don't understand how people can get mad/hate on this anime, well yeah i mean, everyone has their own opinion but the thing that i can't understand is that the fact that they only like to judge based on their opinions about the anime plot being shit and the thing is, they don't even want to enjoy this anime.
This could be very enjoyable for those who wanted to like it, for those who are like "oh yeah this is shit, i'm going to watch it anyway." like why the fuck would you even spend your time
...
watching something you don't like.
Back to the anime... This anime's plot is really easy to follow. A guy who wants to revenge for his rejection. By knowing that, this is where the plot actually became complex because of many unexpected moments, such as another girl that likes Masamune too that actually has a connection from the past, and a boy that has a connection too for Aki Adagaki... e.t.c.
The sound is great, good music, and a great job of voice acting.
Art and visuals are fine, it's good but it's not surprising either.
This is great to watch, it made me laugh audibly, and the plot twists are insane. Totally enjoyable.

CHAINSAW MAN ROCKS BUT BOCCHI ROCKS HARDER! This anime has to be the pinnacle of this season, if not, THE PINNACLE OF THIS YEAR.
I know nothing about rock bands. And yes of course, that doesn't change the fact that I really enjoy the anime. This anime is really fun to watch.
First of all, just wanna mention the thing that made me surprised here is that the production of the anime is really good. People making this anime is given a freedom to do anything to this anime. They actually had fun making this anime, it's like the opposite of the production on how
...
Chainsaw Man got made. (which seems really sad because looking at the studio, Mappa has seemingly overworked the animators.) Huge shout out to Saitou, Keeichirou (the director) is a chad and Kerorira that works too much yet ACTUALLY ENJOYED DOING IT because Kerorira actually wants to get involved working on the anime after he reads the "Bocchi The Rock" manga. Typically people that has put in his position handled less than 100 cuts in average but he did near 600 cuts, and not only that he seems to be carrying they marketing department as well from magazines to the lyric video music, Blu-ray cover art to even earphone collaborations. (like bro this guy really deserves to be paid much, and it better be.) Also don't forget, he is the one that came up with the idea for adapting it to anime in the first place. Their creativity was limitless of how they made it like many art styles has been put on the scenes. They added like stopmotions, the one scene showing her character slowly degenerate into a 3D model straight and just crashes into pile of boxes. (I heard that the animator was asking about what to be filled in this scene, the director told him to just make Bocchi crashes into boxes but doesn't tell the details of how it is going supposed to be, so the animator literally made it like that lmao.) and also when they were describing her as a slug, they went and put some plushie of Bocchi in a force. This has got to be the most creative anime in a while. All the crazy shots were because the animators were given a complete freedom to draw how they wanted and they literally took as many ideas as they could to create the most fun experience, and it seems like the team actually/really enjoyed it.
(you probably already have seen the synopsis) The anime is about a social-anxiety girl that seems to be introverted, well at least that is what in the anime said it was. But thinking about it again, she's not really introverted. Bocchi (the girl mentioned) is the type of person that really wants to start a conversation but is unable to do it. The thing that is keeping her alone is because of her social anxiety. She even waited hours in the class bringing a guitar, hoping someone would start a conversation about her guitar or even herself. That really shows that Bocchi wants to talk with someone and be the cool girl on school, while introverts are people where they do not bother being lonely and not really need to be attractive around people. Truly symbolized of a social-anxiety person.
As I said before, I had no experience with bands or anything related to it, but I know that the way their doing it, it really portrayed of how band are actually is. After watching their live performance for the second time, that one scene when Bocchi is dominating the stage, the other girls looked each as other as they wanted to give Bocchi the spot to shine as they follow Bocchi leading them. The togetherness, the downs and ups they had. It's great to see it.
The four character girls of Kessoku Band are well developed and written, with each four of them had different personalities. Bocchi, being the girl who suffers social anxiety and being the greatest at doing guitar solo out of all the guitarist. Ryo, plays bass, is introvert and non-bad socialized yet prefers to be lonely because she seems to like it and being the person that secretly understands Bocchi the most. Kita, the school queen, being the angel of the band that shines most, just recently learned how to play guitar (ends up being so good) and being the main vocalist. Nijika, the extrovert that is so open to anyone and made the conversation go well, which is the leader of the band too, performs as the drummer and also of course, the opposite of Bocchi in terms of personality. These four characters having 4 different personalities being group in one band is the thing that made it unique and just really entertaining to watch. About appearance, all of them looks really fit/suitable with their personalities. Aside from the personalities, they actually look cute >///<. From the characters, Bocchi seemingly is the character that I can relate most, and maybe many people too.
About visuals and animation, it is well made, and well drawn. It is not that great compared to other anime airing on this season with really high quality animation like from Kyoto Animation and others, because it really fits with this anime. It looks goofy, silly, funny, and cute and really wants the consumers to had fun watching the show.
To close this review...
At the first glance of looking this show, I thought this was just cute girls doing cute things with the comedy and the slice of life genre. But it made it the best slice of life shows I have ever watched. The characters are great, well made, the comedy and jokes that produced in this show always made me audibly laugh. Their friendship and character development is really good. Bocchi taken the spot of best girl in 2022. The music, of course is enjoyable to hear. Audio and voice acting is great too. Everything in this anime is great. In the bottom of my heart, I really love this anime and will be easily be my favorite anime.
This is the most fun I have ever had watching anime. Thank you for CloverWorks and everyone making the show. Born late to explore the earth, too soon to explore the galaxies, born at the right time to watch this masterpiece. And finally, thank you to anyone who read this review, even only reads like a word from this review.

Disclaimer: This could be a spoiler or no, because this show is already can be very easily predictable from the beginning.
I think this is actually the first review I have ever made, and I would really love giving my thoughts on this show.
Shuojo Ai is a thing in anime where girls is having their love, and they make out with each other, and that's where it gets off in this show.
Well actually no, the main character have feelings to the other main character so yeah, but the main character that got liked by the main character seemingly doesn't have any feelings to her but with
...
a point of view of a really close friend, at least that's the thing that i got after finishing it.
It's boring. The fact that it got like some kind of scene that shows an image of both of them loving each other from like kissing, etc. from the main character that liked the girl (which is the other main character too) made me always saying "Ah, this is going to not be happened." and yeah I was right. It didn't happened.
I have spent 12 episodes watching this, hoping the main character would confess her, and the girl that got confessed would be her girlfriend and even made me saying "PLEASE JUST TELL YOU LIKE HER IT'S BEEN A YEAR ON THE HIGHSCHOOL." and also "OH SHE'S FINALLY GOING TO CONFESS HER FEELINGS AW- WAIT WHAT?? SHE JUST CHANGED HER WORD INTO ANOTHER WORD THAT IS KINDA SOUND THE SAME AS 'I like you.' BUT IN A DIFFERENT MEANING BECAUSE SHE'S TOO SHY TO TALK ABOUT IT." (Well I'm not sure if she's shy or scared if she would make the situation awkward, but yeah, you get the point.) but apparently, in the final episode they just hug, laying on her thighs, sleep.
Do I regret spending my time to watch 12 episodes of this anime?
Well the answer is no, their relationship is cute by Adachi (main character) always being shy and clumsy when she's only around Shimamura (the other main character), and Shimamura looked Adachi as a her imouto (younger sister) and as a her dog pet.
It also viewed the side characters sweet relationship THAT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE THEY LIKED EACHOTHER NOT LIKE THE MAIN ONES from Nagafuji (side character) and Hino (the other side character) by Nagafuji kept kissing Hino on her forehead that looks sweet too.
Not forgetting, it also viewed other side characters cute and sweet relationship from Shimamura's actual biological sweet little younger sister and some kind of cute little girl (I forgot their names oops), for lolicon this would be the main thing on the show lmao.
Oh yeah also the relationship of Shimamura with Tarumi (her childhood friend) that seems off and awkward because they just met at high school days from kindergarten, while Tarumi is trying to act like her in the past which seen like excited, a happy kid, etc.; Shimamura just act normal like she's now that seen like calm and mature, and that really shows that Shimamura only like being around Adachi and don't seem to be enjoying her time with Tarumi, her childhood friend.
About the drama having in this show that I remember is probably about the relationship between Adachi and her mom being not too close that made Adachi being not too caring her mother (I don't really think though, but at least that's what I thought.)
Also the fact that all of the characters in this show does not had male characters in it just makes it unnatural, except that one scene where Shimamura's family and Adachi having a dinner having Shimamura's dad being there (literally just sitting and being there) that they even made him not showing his face or even showing a noise from him.
Girls love does not mean all of the characters are girls, it's supposed to be girls love focusing on girls, not literally making the whole characters to be a girl.
About plot twists, I didn't even remember there was, I do not think it does have any, well this show's genre doesn't even have drama on it, so I did not expect much on this show.
For this review to be a proper review, I'm too lazy to rate score on this show by using different categories, one by one categories and then averaging it like from story, character, art/visuals, animation, etc. I'm just going to go with my feelings and from what have I've been through.
Well that's all my thoughts about this show on this review it's like 2.33 AM and I'm going to sleep trying to dream of the wholesome moments.
If you actually made it up to below here (which I actually think people won't) I just wanna say "𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 very much." for reading my first review I have ever made, it has to be having many mistakes that I wanna apologize about, and I hope you can forgive it. Oyasumi.
