It's worth watching this super-comedy animation. If you have watched Chivalrous Hero Shen Jianxin before and liked it, then you will like this one more. It has good original art skills, full marks for animation special effects, and one of the few good-looking styles in this genre. The plot is good, and the opening song is amazing. The character growth is noticeable, and I think the only weak point is the background, but the story is very funny.
The style of art and comedy is unique, and the dialogues are very funny. I started watching this without any expectations and loved it. You will be laughing

The only way I could have finished season 1 was by fast forwarding. I finished the whole season in one and half hour. Still I felt like I should have skipped few episodes and save my time.
The plot is really unbearable, MC teleported in a cultivation world and started using unlimited guns, grenades, RPG. I mean how the hell someone like him got the inheritance. There is no character growth for MC, he stays a jerk throughout the whole season. Also the most unusual part is every cultivator can fly even MC himself can but instead of flying he uses a flying car to ...

I think the story is average at best, and the male lead has no particular characteristics. The story is simple: there is a green seed of ancient treasure inside the MC that makes him stronger and cultivate faster, and as always, the MC is very lucky to find this and that which helps him become stronger. Although the story is bland, it's still refreshing, and the art work is wonderful. The action sequences, dialogues, voice acting, and male lead modeling are quite good.
But then again, there is no logic to speak of. MC goes to an academy where there are no teachers and their lives ...

Painfully watched up to 25 episodes, it's a revenge and adventure-style cultivation drama; the story is not unique; it's the same old revenge plot. I think the main drawbacks are the poor art style and graphics quality plus the bad dialogues, especially the costume and color combination, which are just pathetic. The MC wears the same piece of clothing from childhood to adulthood. It's very funny, and the hairstyle looks like it's not mainstream; the fighting scene and the powers of each character don't look special, just plain and boring.
I don't think anyone will enjoy this donghua, although if you have plenty of free time ...

Season 1 was full of comedy and introduction to the world of Jianxin, but season 2 is more in-depth to that story. This season has really good fighting scenes. The character growth and MC's self-realization are something that the creator worked on this season. Although, the Jianghu does not deserve a hero like Shen Jianxin. Many new characters have been introduced in this season. It also introduced a new Female lead with a saddening background story and a little bit of a rom-com vibe between the ML and FL.
The story is enjoyable and the animation is very good with some really good fighting ... |
