A nice and simple SOL isekai. It follows all the standard tropes.
There is no overaching story, with the main focus being the daily interactions of the MC and his adopted children.

This anime could just as easily have been set in the modern world, and still, 99% of the plot could remain unaltered. Basically, just turn your brain off and relax looking at cute characters doing cute things.

If there is one thing to complain about, it would be regarding how overly kind the MC is. He refuses payment even when he is properly deserving of being compensated, and there's a whole mini scene that basically repeats ...

Mixed Feelings
This anime is poorly executed, and way too formulaic. Overall, I'm really dissapointed with how the plot has been made to flow so poorly, and with how bland the MC is. Just so we are clear, Isekai has an especially low bar on MCs, yet this anime somehow manages to cross that border.

Overall (6 / 10)

Story (4 / 10)
Very repetitive. The general plot every single episode is as follows: Go to place > place in danger > save place > leave place discreetly > repeat
The way we're dumped into the story also makes it really hard to enjoy the plot flow. There are only 12 ...

I personally really enjoy this anime. Among the slog of samey and boring isekai, it really breaks the mold, in the sense that the sole purpose of the anime is the chill and carefree vibe it has, aka. there is no plot or tension. After reading the reviews here, many people dislike this aspect. For me however, it perfectly matches my expectations and wants for the show.

Another positive aspect is that the characters are actually smart, and act like real people. The MC is very reasonable, even if a bit too cowardly. The characters make or break the show, and fortunately here, they easily make ...

A decent anime overall (6 / 10) .

The story is quite average, as far as isekai plots and tropes go. What makes the show interesting is the way that MC uses his newfound power, and the overall plot direction. If these were the only considerations, then the score should have been (8 / 10).

Unfortunately, the way that MC speaks, and how dialog is handled really ruins the experience for me. The MC talks like the most formal robot to ever exist out there. Every single conversation becomes predictable from the moment it starts. MC treats every single person he interacts with like they executive ...

Spoiler
Compared to most anime I've seen, this one is rather uneventful, yet very interesting. We follow the 14 year old Yamari Ko as he decides to ditch school and unwind in the night. He spends most of his time interacting with the girl he hopes to court, Nazuna, as well as his own school friends.
Throughout this season, not much happens storywise. All the notable characters and background explanation is properly established. In fact, just about anyone can compress everything that has happened into 1000 words, and no important details will be lost.

In terms of character, Yamari carries the story very well. He starts out innocent ...

Preliminary (10/11 eps)
This is a very straightforward and self-consistent show. In plain and simple terms, the characters are all in some way unique and have proper reason for doing things. What I really appreciate is that the idaten and the intellegent demons are very clearly different from humans, and are thus not bound to notions such as "no murder", "white knight pure justice", etc.

Often in anime/manga you get a cast of characters that look human, but are clearly not, yet they spend pointless screentime to justify their actions and such. By contrast, in this show, it's very clear that humans are getting used by both idaten and ...

Bubble (Anime) add
There are plenty of long and comprehensive reviews, so I'll jump straight into the essence of the review:

The movie itself has a very simple and linear story. All in all, there are only 2 characters to really pay any attention to. Everyone else is just there to complete the setting. There is only a very vague, shoed-in character development.

That being said, overall the movie is enjoyable when watched casually. There are a few emotional moments, the art is top notch, and the music is also amazing when it's actually used (they got both Sawano and Eve)

TLDR: Worth a watch, so long as you don't ...
