This manga is actually pretty interesting. A main character who deals with his issues in a unique way is quite fun to read about, it was intriguing to see how the MC tries to cope with his shortcomings and try to hang with the 'normal' people in his class.
The dynamic between the MC and his love interest is also done pretty well, and the pacing for the two's relationship is believable too. This is one of the best manga i've ever read. This is a manga series with a lot of heart, likeable and relatable characters, and enjoyable art. While reading this, i found myself deeply drawn into the exploits of the cast. Having suffered from some social issues myself, this manga had quite a few 'golden words' to life by and take from. Sure, there are a few cliches and tropes in the story, but this manga pulls it off so well, and the plot-twists are done tastefully and if you pay enough attention, somewhat noticeable so it's not your typical 180 degree absurd plot-twists. My main gripe with the original DiTF anime series was that it had a lot of unnecessary things happen just to fill up that 24-episode run. Not only that, there's quite a few plotholes that i am bothered by (especially towards the second half of the season).
This manga adaptation starts out roughly the same way as the anime did, but it made do without some of the more 'filler' arcs of the anime and got straight to the point.
