Lovely Complex it's a story about friendship, love, doubts and shows how the teenagers think about love. Koizumi Risa is a tall girl that is at college and never had date anyone before (she didn't even kiss anyone) and she have a friend called Atsushi Otani (that is a short boy). They are often called 'All Hanshin Kyojin' (because of a couple of comediants - a short and a tall one - and they are funny when are together). Both of them have a complex with their size, and thought that because of this they weren't dating anyone so they decide to bet who's going ... to find a boyfriend/girlfriend first, but they didn't realize that love can surprise.
