I really liked the art style, plot, and music of this, character design was great as well, awakened beings looked great, and somehow they managed to have the claymores have very distinct personalities and appearance while also looking very similar. I personally had no problem with how it ended, and I'm actually glad what happened did happen, but I do wish that it kept going for another 20ish episodes. Flushing out what the organization really is, who they are, what their motives are. Having certain characters actually continue their objective at the end when it comes to the organization. Seeing those play out may have ... put this up to a 9/10 for me, since I really did enjoy the plot, visual, and music of this. What annoyed me are the morons that cried about how the show went because they just have Dragon Ball Z brain "Duh good guy must wevel up and beat up bad guy Duh" and are incapable of understanding any nuances in the story. I think the fights could have been animated a bit better, and I wish we got more character development and more episodes to really unravel the story more as our characters went on, but still great none the less. 7.5/10

I can see this being enjoyable if you're a foodie and you just want something chill to watch while you eat/smoke or something. But to me it was just too boring to keep watching tbh, I mean nearly every conversation is about food or leads to talking about some kind of food. The MC seems way more concerned with eating some monsters than he is with saving his dying sister. Not to mention apparently it's no big deal to revive a person, so what's the rush to get to her anyways? The whole plot just seems pointless and has gone no where so far. Like ... I said though it's chill and enjoyable if you want a goofy food anime that does basically nothing but cook food all episode every episode. This being rank #97 is crazy to me.

I can see how Drakengard 3 took inspiration from this anime. There's a lot I like about this, the art is very unique, the music is some of the best I've ever heard in an anime, and the story takes a turn from what you're expecting after the first couple episodes. With that being said though, this plot turn aspect didn't come as a huge shock for me even though I wasn't spoiled on it. Also the plot is interesting but doesn't seem super thought out or flushed out with detail, by the end there were still a bit of plot holes in my mind, ... especially with the ending. The 3rd movie helped a bit with the questions I had but still didn't seem like a good answer for the questions and also just brought more plot holes with it. I really do love this anime's ost though and the art style is wonderful, I can tell they had a lot of fun making this.
