This was so disappointing.

Usually what happens with shows that have popular light novels or manga, they end up getting overhyped and the anime turns out to be quite a disappointment. Thats usually the case, but it dosen't apply to this show. The first few episodes, i genunely enjoyed and thought the concept was interisting, also no harem was a plus point. It started to really go downhill when
-Interactions between the characters feel forced.
-Nagisa (the main 'FMC' of the show) tries to hard to replace siesta or
... whatever when she clearly couldnt. I really wanted to punch my
monitor whenever she had one of those 'i shall continue the great
legacy of this person i dont know' and also when she called
herself legendary detective' when she had nothing to show for it.
That was a title siesta earned but Nagisa made it her own on a
literal whim.
- The usual MC and friendship and forgiveness trope. I found him to be a
massive hypocrite and made the show much less enjoyable.

All in all, if i was felling generous i would rate this a max 3/10 . I'm not saying that shouldn't watch this but quite frankly its a waste of time and a waste of a good concept/plot that was ruined by bad directing and story writing.

I genuinely dont think the story had much going on for this manga. It rose to fame because of ufotable's amazing adaptations.

Basically the only happy ending is that tanjiro and kanako get married. after that we see a time skip with all their kids and stuff. Also nezuko became human.

The part which made me lose hope for this was that they killed more than half of the characters for no reason and in the most ... painful way possible. The author built up a character only to kill them off in a few chapters and like that every 5-7 chapters a character died.

Honestly the author is somewhat good at character dev and art but thats about it
