This manga was not one of my top favorites, but it was still interesting to read.
The story line was...alright; a bit bleak in the beginning with your average plot - innocent young maiden who views the world with such optimism even though she has such a terrible past and whatnot and her companion, who turns out to be the one person she's looking for, traveling the world to succeed in their (her) goal. What can I say about Black Bird except that it was an unbelievable read. In the beginning, I was a little worried about reading it - simply because I haven't read manga in a VERY long time and I wasn't sure in my choice. I mean, the plot synopsis' I read sounded interesting enough, and I loved the cover art (which was my main reason for buying it in the first place - I know, I know; what a horrible way to pick a manga, right?).
