This is probably one of the most emotionally complex manga I've ever read. I started reading it thinking it was a cute romance, because of a post I saw, but in reality it's just depression.
What I loved most about this story is how all the main characters have questionable personalities: MC is a creepy stalker, he takes pictures of his crush without permission for months. ML finds out and uses this to blackmail and play with his mind. But since MC has a super sad past and is the main character, Cirrus ends up looking like the villain. I understand what he does, I wouldn't
...
look kindly on someone who did this to a friend of mine either, but we get attached to Skylar too and want to see him happy.
However, Cirrus is also a complex character with an even worse past. He doesn't know how to make friends, he doesn't know how to approach Skylar and he has a yandere personality. That's why we also root for him to be happy. It's not a question of choosing a side or right or wrong, it's not that black and white. They're both wrong, they're both trash people, but they suffer so much that we find ourselves rooting for a breath of fresh air in the midst of so much going wrong.
So it's a toxic romance, but where both are bad guys. Skylar is super reactive and aggressive, Cirrus is devoid of empathy, unless it involves the one he loves. There are a lot of complex feelings and two fucked up guys finding comfort in each other, because they're the only ones who understand each other and can be who they really are with each other. It's a toxic relationship, but it works, because they're what keeps each other somewhat sane.
I cried a lot while reading it, for the first time I was scared and had triggers with some themes. I can usually read something like this without any problems, but this series caught me off guard. I love complex and fucked up characters, so I love Skylar and Cirrus, even Chan-il has his dark side (I hope it is developed better in the next chapters). Every three chapters I thought about suicide, this story really made me miserable, but I love it. I love feeling such great sensations and having such impactful experiences just by reading a story, feeling all kinds of feelings with a work of fiction. That's why it's a masterpiece for me, the touch of realism, the drama, the relationships, the characters... I have nothing to complain about.
Maybe just the amount of flashbacks, there are so many, I don't see much need to show them all, when just telling a few is enough. For important events, their childhood, I understand, but even silly things have flashbacks.
SPOILER:
I think I have a soft spot for yandere characters. I loved reading Cirrus pushing Skylar's friends away and making him get his heart broken, and then finding out the reason for everything. Is that a really fucked up way to do something for the good of the person you like? Sure, but it's entertaining. The fact that Skylar seems like a poor thing, but he harassed both guys because he once had a crush and how he is so physically and verbally aggressive with Cirrus... I would hate if only one of them was such a piece of trash, but since it's both of them, it seems balanced and I can just enjoy the feelings.

I'm very sad to write this, my feelings are really mixed, because I want to feel something, but I'm feeling another. The point is that this manga has a slightly more childish drawing, the characters have a child's innocence and it's all very cute, despite the serious subjects. It's a manga with a happy ending, but everything in it that makes it like that is exactly what makes me sad.
It starts cool, but the drama that will last the entire manga already has a resolution practically at the beginning. The author forgets this to develop other things, and only then comes back to the subject.
...
About the three main characters: they are all cute, a crossdresser, an apparently bisexual girl, a gay boy. This is the premise we have right away. But then the romance ruins everything.
The boy who is a crossdresser and the girl who is bisexual suffer from the stereotype of being indecisive, so their attitudes end up hurting everyone. That's why I ended up getting too attached to Ryunji. His development, for me, was the best. I got goosebumps, laughed a lot and cried a lot with him. He's a great boy, but he's not rewarded for that. While the other two are very contradictory. Makoto doesn't take much into account people's feelings, because he's too focused on his and still doesn't know what he feels. Saki can't decide anything, she says and cries that she's alone, but because she wants to. She has people around her and doesn't know how to value it. She doesn't want to bother people, but then she feels alone because of it.
That's why, when the issue of the romance arises, which is already well clarified at the beginning, I couldn't root for them. The happier two were, the more I cried because it made the best character in the manga (for me) sad.
After this beginning, the story begins to focus more on Saki and the thing about her parents that, honestly, I couldn't care less. It also develops a little of Makoto's relationship with his mother, who also couldn't sympathize no matter how hard the author tried. The only thing that interested me, Ryunji, was already solved. And, in my view, it was resolved in a very disappointing way. I cried a lot, he didn't have the focus he deserved, nor a conclusion that clarified that he wasn't what he thought he was. Seriously, I didn't understand the purpose of involving him in the romance and developing his entire relationship with Makoto for so long, so much flashback, to end it that way. I don't feel that he really came to the conclusion of accepting himself as he is, he felt wrong and the whole context around him only reinforced that yes, only a man-woman relationship is right.
The whole concept of crossdressing, the non-binarity and the breaking of the gender pattern is too cool. But because Ryunji gained a bigger space in my heart, I expected a little more focus on that too. I feel it wasn't fair to him when Makoto and Saki had such a long development. And it made me sad cause they are two cute, Saki is a very good person, Makoto also deserves a lot of love, but I couldn't be happy for them. And that makes me angry.
I think it was the romance that ruined everything, it would be a much better story if it was just friendship and self-discovery.

I completely loved it! I've been reading some shounen ai and I think this was the one that seemed most realistic to me. It is about a couple who have been together for a long time, when some insecurities arise. It's difficult to maintain a relationship, I really enjoy stories like this, seeing what comes after "happily ever after", because we know that it's just the beginning and day to day life, new situations, all of this can cause a bigger problem than we can handle. This is the type of manga that is super natural/jam.
The two are together, but there are still insecurities.
...
One starts to feel insecure and the other ends up feeling insecure as a result. What I understood to be happening with Daichi is a bit of dissociation and lack of trust in his partner's feelings, it's completely understandable and left me thinking for a while. I've never been in a relationship straight away with someone of the same sex, but I could understand the feeling.
It can be a little frustrating because communication problems seem so simple to resolve, but in this case it goes a little further than that. Just putting out what you're feeling is not enough to resolve it, because it's something that comes from within.
I really liked the resolution, how they handled things, the way the author frustrates us a little with a disagreement, but then gives us a moment of peace when they talk, only for another disagreement to come and made me realize that just sitting down and talking was not enough. I thought it was a very beautiful story, despite the art being very simple, so I really liked it.

There's not much to say about this manga, I practically only read it because I was recommended to read the sequel. It's a cute romance between two students who are complete opposites, the good student and the lazy one with no future. There isn't much drama, it's basically the MC trying to hide how he feels, until those feelings explode and they have to deal with it. But it's all very easily resolved, there's no "I'll think about it" or anything like that. They have a little communication problem and it's a little frustrating to see how it's just an honest conversation and everything is
...
resolved, but they are still learning to trust each other.
But it's extremely adorable, I love couple dynamics where they're so different and they're so cute together. It's a simple and unremarkable story, but it's enjoyable to read, a little more realistic than these stories usually are, but nothing that caught me or that I identified with.

I'm already a little attached to the characters, especially their friendship. They are very cute, I love this type of story.
We have three guys with three different lives, different sexualities and dramas. I was a little happy to finally see something that brought all these sexualities together. There's a gay guy, a bisexual guy and a straight guy, so I thought there would be relationships of both types. But it's just shounen ai.
The guy who is straight his drama boils down to friendship problems and a strange relationship with a teacher. While the other two have their personal problems and a developing romance with another
...
guy. I know it's boys love, but I was a little fooled by the synopsis. I love all kinds of romance, I read yaoi, yuri and straight romance, but it's strange how rarely you see them come together. Either he's just straight or he's just gay.
But other than that, it's a slightly emotional story, more focused on their friendship, but also personal problems for each one. It's very cute, the characters are good people, but nothing that stuck with me. The development is cool, but it doesn't go deeper. The art is very simple, nothing that impresses either and I think this matches the manga, which is also not bad, but not impressive.
Anyway, it was a cool read, so I think it's worth reading.

I'm impressed, I started reading it because I thought it would just be a silly story focusing more on sex, just to pass the time and laugh a little, but it's one of the best lovers' rivals I've ever read. The author knows how to build a real rivalry, this is the relationship you imagine when you think of rivals and it still manages to be a healthy relationship.
The context of firefighters is very interesting. And they are two big, strong men, both very good at what they do, without stereotypes and without that "hehe he's as cute as a girl" thing. There isn't a
...
lot of drama in terms of accepting feelings, which I love, but in other things I found it interesting to follow. Mainly because everything revolves around their rivalry and how it makes them better, instead of ending everything. I loved it, it's very cute too, there aren't many declarations of love, but I identified with Yajima in this. I could read 10 more chapters just about them being lovers, because I loved their interactions and dynamics.
As it's short, it's not something that will mark my life, that I'll never forget, because it doesn't give much time to get so attached to the story and characters, but it leaves that feeling that it would be possible with more.

It's very cute, I like the way they treat the music and the dynamics of the two protagonists. It's the classic grumpy guy and sunshine guy, which I really like. I thought their interactions were cool, the way Haru makes Eddie see the world in a different way and how Eddie inspires him too.
Basically it's the two of them inspiring each other.
The development was satisfactory, it solved what had to be solved and didn't leave me with the feeling of "I want more". They know each other and each one has a problem to solve and they solve it. They visit the past a little,
...
discover a connection, there's even a little drama and everything is resolved. I thought the art was cool, a little different from what I'm used to, but it adds a fun touch to the story. It's cute, beautiful, nothing that marked my life and I'll probably forget it after a while, but it was fun to read and it's good to pass the time.

A cute story made to warm your heart. It has a little depth to Yamato's character and is a little more real in relation to a small town. I've read many stories with cities like this and it was strange to see how everyone was always very open to everything, especially homosexual couples. We know that this is not quite reality, so I really liked this touch on the story. It's a short story, so there's always going to be something that we haven't seen enough of, but I feel like it's also a positive point that it makes you want more. That's how I
...
felt, it has development, it's satisfying, but it made me want more. Mainly the question of being accepted by the city, what would be the conclusion of that or is there no conclusion?
Despite that, it's nothing heavy or focused on that part, but on the main couple who feel lonely when they're not together.
It's my favorite type of dynamic, when the two are completely opposite in personality, so I loved their relationship. It's just so cute and warming and beautiful. The art conveys this feeling well and I had a good time reading it. Nothing that will change my life, but it warmed it up for at least a few minutes.

I found this manga to be one of the most beautiful I've ever read, his writing is a little more poetic and I'm obsessed with Saotome's confession to Sasasori. It's in my top 10.
There are few chapters, so I didn't expect much from the development, but the author wanted to bring a story that has a very long space of time. They met at school and met again in adulthood, two parts that were developed, but the gap between the past and the present bothered me a little. Why didn't anything happen after the confession or didn't they keep in touch? I would like more
...
information about that time.
I would also like to praise the art itself, it is full of realistic details that are rare to see in manga, like the image distortion that the lens of Saotome's glasses causes or when he breaks a chopstick and one side comes out thinner than the other.
Their meeting is interesting, it talks a lot about love in a more complex way, I really liked the general scenario of the story. They have a very interesting dynamic that I really like, with one being calmer and less expressive, while the other is more reactive. Very cute. And it's a healthy relationship. The way Saotome feels about Sasasori, him wanting to be on equal terms, the symbolisms, all of this is what made the manga so beautiful for me. I love when an author does that.
I really liked the ending, I was just a little frustrated with the extra chapter, because I thought they would have already resolved their feelings. It gives a feeling of an open ending, but I liked them so much that I wanted a more closed ending as possible, I want to see their lives together for another 10 chapters.

I liked it, it's cute and I love seeing the daily life of a couple. Everything had to be perfect, but Rintarou is a terrible boyfriend. In all the moments of the manga, there wasn't one that made me understand why Santa is still with him. He has some "this is why I love him" moments, but I don't understand, the guy doesn't do anything more than the bare minimum.
He is useless, childish and very toxic. While Santa is more mature and does everything for them. I understand that there are people who are terrible at household chores, but it doesn't seem like Rintarou
...
compensates in any way, not even with psychological support. I started the manga with "oh how cute" and ended up rooting for them to break up.
I understand that it is not easy to live with someone, that in reality things are difficult and having one moment or another like that is normal, we all have flaws. But hey, there wasn't any quality to make up for it either. When it only shows bad moments, how am I supposed to support them? There's nothing to fall in love with here. If the intention was to show how happy two people are living together, despite the difficulties and defects, it was very poorly executed.
