This series is seriously too cute. I smile every chapter.
Sometimes literature like this has tone shifts that feel out of place for the sake of stakes, but this story doesn't feel the need to do that because every interaction feels meaningful and fun.
The simple, but purposeful, art's style elevates the story and the quality is professional with full color, backgrounds, and consistent perspective and proportions.

This review is written as of chapter 36 (first chapter of season 2)
The art is very consistent and pleasant to look at, backgrounds drawn well too. Nothing too special, but very good and very solid: 8.5 The story feels like it is still has a lot to tell and it has laid the groundwork to open up the world and bigger story lines. Not only that, but the stories that it has told through minor characters is already interesting and solid: 8.5 I think this story has a lot of potential. Its paced well and the substance for each mini story feels like it contributes to the mc's ... Sep 26, 2023

I really appreciate the contribution the African Americans in this piece of literature.
I mean I like the colors on this manhwa... and the art is spectacular, rivaling the quality of other acclaimed manga while having it's appealing art style not become too generic. The linework is clean and backgrounds are almost always present. The story is about what you expect from a typical shonen, but the execution, the how, meaning the world building, the suspense and tension, the catharsis the mc invokes, is done very well. This manhwa primarily for: people who wanted more from SAO and were disappointed by the direction it goes for after ... |
