Both are made by KyoAni, so they have similar art. They are both sort of supernatural slice of life stories. Technically, they both include a literature club. Akihito's glasses fetish reminded me of Kyon's ponytail fetish).

If you liked Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu add

...then you might like Lucky☆Star add

It uses a lot of the same cast--most obviously, Aya Hirano (Haruhi) is Konata, but everyone else from the brigade makes at least a cameo, sometimes more (For the dub, I know Wendee Lee is in both, but I haven't checked out the other actors). Lucky Star makes jokes about other anime, and a lot specifically about Haruhi Suzumiya. It's the same company, and has similar humor. Art is somewhat different, but still has some similarities.
