Toradora: an exceptional anime with nothing exceptional about it
...and also the anime that has surprised me the most (in a good way).
Before starting, I want to make some things clear about my analysis. Being a slice of life/romance anime, the core of the show is not a high level animation or even (obviously) exciting fights like the ones we see in shounens. No. What we should look for in a show like this one is the plot, the characters and their relations, and how the characters and the plot converse with each other. I've never reviewed an anime before, but this one deserves my attention. I don't even know where should I begin...
The animation is the worst thing I ever saw. It looks just like a PS1 game. The cuts are the worst part of it. You feel like there's half of the story between two scenes and it annoyed me. Lines are horrible and repetitive. In one scene, I heard a reporter saying the same line 3 times. Yes, 3 TIMES. The story itself tells nothing about nothing.
