Overall it's great but I was disappointed with some of the minor changes.
The Story was great as usual.
I liked the better animation but I am still a fan of some of the original art.
An example of a change I didn't like was Otae and Gin not passing each other. Things like this are why I put characters down to 8. These small changes in character interactions hurt this movie for me.
The soundtrack is outstanding, especially DOES coming in for the final fight.
Of course, I enjoyed it. It's Gintama. Absolutely amazing as always. I'm rating it a 10 because it was outstanding. Although

This season consists of the best arc in the manga, so I was looking forward to seeing how it would be animated.
The story is good enough. It is simple but not to the point where it's uninteresting. Early on it slightly drags but not for long. It gets more exciting as it keeps going, with turns that make it more engaging. The Animation is of course absolutely amazing. It's Ufotable, I think we know this already. Episode 10 is the most notable episode for the animation. The voice actors do their jobs well, Zenitsu isn't screaming, the sound effects are well done. The characters aren't deep but they ... |
