Tamayura (Manga) add
While the concept is not by any means original, Tamayura is such a beautiful story. The pacing is wonderful and easy going; it leaves the reader with the same feeling as a slice of life manga by the end of it. Yuki put together this piece really well - and it's only five chapters long. I would highly recommend this read, however don't go into it expecting too much.

Nothing unexpected happens. Life is life, right? Things happen... everyone just has to deal with the cards that they're given. There was nothing particularly extraordinary about any of Tamayura - except perhaps the undeniable yet subtle ...

As the reader will quickly realise, Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu is a story about a girl's first love as well as the various first experiences that also come with it. The story contained many elements which reminded me of my first love - and for that reason, I found Hibino's thoughts and actions to be quite realistic when compared to my own experience.

There are times that the reader will want to snap the book shut, curl up into a ball and squeal because of how awkward/inexperienced Hibino is... and, during those times, it is really hard to go on - it's honestly so hilariously embarrassing ...

The concept of the story is nice, but seemed a poorly executed. It felt rushed, and there tended to be a lack of suspense during the series. In saying this though, I know that there are people who absolutely adore this manga... so it really comes down to personal preference.

What impressed me was the route that the author took in some of the circumstances. I remember begging Konohara in my mind to not go for the popular route at one point, and she didn't so I was really pleased with her decision. However, in saying that, my celebration was extremely short lived as I ...

Reading this manga turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise. I went into it not expecting much, but for a work of this kind, i.e. a short four-chapter long shounen ai manga, it is quite well thought out.

The story's flow is good and is only about 30% fluffy. Even though it is such a short series, the characters and the plot seem to be fairly sound. I truly think that a lot of people can empathise with what's going on... and, I think that's what makes this manga such a fantastic yet simple piece.

I would recommend Sono Yubi dake ga Shitteiru to anyone who ...
