This is the first time I'm writing a review. Contains spoilers.
Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha is an example of what writers should do if they don't have "original" ideas. I say this because this anime has 0 originality but it's an enjoyable anime. The writer clearly knew that it's very hard to come up with original ideas these days but instead of being a tryhard and writing some big brain novel (source material is a novel) he decided to write something that people could enjoy.
The MC is called Anos Voldigoad and he is the Demon King and a Gigachad. He is OP, but unlike boring protagonists

from anime like Kenja no Mago, he is badass and has a great voice.
First impressions of this character from episode 1 might make people think that he is some edgy dude that likes to see others suffer, but what if I told you that 2000 years ago, he was the one that was actually tired of killing people and told Kanon (the Hero of the human race) to kill him so that he could split the world into 4 to end the war?
Not so edgy anymore right? The thing is Anos is only cruel against his enemies. This means that there is a balance between cruel moments (when he forces an enemy to give up by killing and reviving him over and over) and wholesome moments (when Anos is having dinner with his family).
As I said before, Anos is OP. And this means that the fights will be boring. However in this anime that isn't a problem, because the focus of the writer wasn't in the outcome of the battle (we already know that Anos always wins) but in the battle itself. This makes so that throughout the season, we get entertaining fights regardless if they are one sided or not.
About sound, art, animation, etc... I didn't have any problem with those things, they were great. The only problem was that the ending was rushed, but it was a conclusive ending so even if this anime doesn't get another season, people can still watch without having to worry about cliffhangers.
Considering that there wasn't any big problem with this anime, my rating is based on the enjoyment this anime provided, which means that this anime gets a 10/10.
