Everyone and their mom knows it, it's one of the most iconic Slices of Lifes (Slices of Life..?) ever made. Personally, I really like Tomo. She brightens everything up when she's around and I can't help but smile whenever she does her thing. I also really like Sakaki, but I find Chiyo annoying. The other characters are all also great in their own ways, even the minor ones. They're definitely Azumanga's strongest aspect.
There isn't much of a story, it's just the girls going to school and getting to know each other, but that's perfectly fine in my opinion. I recommend this to just about anyone,
