Ok, this is the most random rating in the anime world. There is no possible way this anime deserves an 8.
> STORY:
There is a story, it just doesn't make any sense at all.
Watching the first episode, it makes sense until the opening comes up. After that, it's all too WTF. I just started to feel dizzy with all this nonsense.
Think about it: a girl comes and knocks the boy with a motorcycle and after that she hits him with an electric guitar. It's just as I'm saying it here, it makes no sense, neither in the first episode, nor in any of the other ones.
Basically
...
it's about robots that come out of people's foreheads. Confused? Then watching the anime will make you try to kill yourself.
> ART:
Nicest part of the anime. Characters are well designed and there are beautiful and detailed backgrounds.
Still, people's faces change every episode but their expressions are always the same.
> SOUND:
Seriously, this is what really made me give up on watching FLCL.
The conversations are all random and don't make sense, so you have to try hard to understand anything. It's already bad like that, but they insist on making it worse by playing VERY loud rock songs ALL_THE_TIME. I just wanted to throw a bomb in my computer.
Even with all that, the songs are kinda good, it's just that they shouldn't be on this anime.
> CHARACTERS:
Really, they scare me. The main character is an almost emo who doesn't like to talk to anyone but still has a girlfriend and a girl from his class is into him.
His girlfriend smokes (she's about 15). She also keeps making slutty things to the boy and he doesn't like it at all.
Then, there is the crazy (weird) girl who knows all about gigantic robots. She is the real WEIRD thing on FLCL. It isn't explained how she knows about the robots, who she is, what she does or why [the hell] she likes to beat people while making crazy faces.
All the other characters seem to be obsessed with something, and ALL of them remind me of smeagol from Lord of the Rings.
> ENJOYMENT:
People can say what they want about this, but it didn't get my attention and I didn't even grin at any moment. Is it hilarious? No, it's not.
Even being so short it's very hard to watch all 6 episodes.
If jokes even made sense, only some sense, I would have given it a 6.
> OVERALL:
There are random animes out there, many of them are very good, but their randomness makes sense, unlike the randomness from Furi Kuri (or FLCL or Fooly Cooly or what the hell you like to call it). It just makes no sense and you feel like throwing up.
Really, really bad.

Are you tired of watching those "epic" and long animes? Tired of big and detailed stories? Believe me, everyone gets tired of it once in a while.
If you are, watch this. It's not possible that you won't laugh at all.
> STORY:
Even if not an important part of the anime, it's pretty interesting (but it's a very common theme among this kind of anime).
It starts as Nagasumi Michishio is on vacation at his granny's beach house with his parents. He is swimming when a BIG wave throws him to the seafloor and (just like any other mermaid animes), he is rescued by a mermaid called
...
Seto San. The problem is, San's family follows the mermaid rule of having to kill any human that sees them, plus her father is a kick-ass chef of a mermaid mafia (awesome). In order not to kill Nagasumi, San decides to marry him, and they do so. After some time on the beach house (5 or 6 episodes), they go the the city as school is about to restart. The rest of the anime presents many new characters slowly.
The story isn't the main thing, but it is always happening, and you can fell it even when surrounded by nonsense jokes, and it IS a romantic anime, but not a deep one. Unfortunately, as the anime goes on, jokes go over the top and make your head go fuzzy about the story.
> ART:
Squared eyes and colourful hairstyles make the characters rather unique and fun, being extremely fitting for the so-happy anime, plus there are very detailed backgrounds at all times, and combined, they make this anime's visuals work just right. Something fancy and noticable at any episode is someone showing a scary (but funny as hell) angry face, normally San's father, and as a reaction, a scary (and one of a kind) perplexed face from Nagasumi. I just can't keep a straight face at those.
It's nothing amazingly beautiful, though.
> SOUND:
Nice soundtrack and perfect voice acting. The voice actors were made for the characters, and make you laught even more when changing their original voices to something absolutely unexpected (for example, when San sings the la-le-loo song).
> CHARACTERS:
They are ALL hilarious, with no exceptions.
Their personalities lack a bit, but man, with the jokes I just can't rate this badly. Actually, the jokes make up for every fail aspect of this anime, and that's why it gets a 10 from me.
> ENJOYMENT:
No anime can make me laugh as hard as I have while watching Seto no Hanayome, and I believe you will fell the same. It's just too funny.
The story is also fancy.
> OVERALL:
FUNNY AS HELL.
If you get tired of watching, stop and continue the other day, since the story is taken by jokes in the second half of the anime, but don't stop, you WON'T find anything like this.
Hope you enjoy it, and make sure you don't pee on you pants! ^^

A must.
> STORY:
Funny, dramatic, scary (were you expecting that?) and very well adapted from its light novel.
Everything is pretty well told and detailed, focusing on different characters and their feelings (some of them dramatically changing through the story).
But not all is stars, at least for me. There is an enourmous twist in the storyline at about the 19th episode, and even already having predicted that, it was surprising how it all turned out, as characters's feelings seemed to be very clear about what they really meant. It sound crazy because I don't want to spoil anything, so sorry.
The big twist isn't only on the story
...
itself, but it's also on the story's climate. Near the end, it all becomes extremely depressing and dramatic way too drastically. There should be a bigger transition to this twist, so that everyone could "adapt" to it (characters and people watching). I didn't adapt, and neither did the characters.
All in all, very nice story, with very funny moments. Still, SPOILER COMING >>> SPOILER GONE.
> ART:
Animation quality is 99,9%, lacking at fast scenes.
Still, it's all pretty well made and well tasted. J.C Staff quality.
> SOUND:
GREAT OST. One of the best EVER.
But... (hate me for this) the main song was far too played. It should have been saved for only the most dramatic moments.
> CHARACTERS:
They change their feelings out of nowhere, leaving no explaination, and that's what is bad. All the rest is good - everyone is very funny and have deep feelings.
> ENJOYMENT:
Loved it, so funny yet so romantic! Very, very original, even with the usual tsundere from J.C Staff.
Knowing how things would turn out was disappointing, though.
> OVERALL:
A very unique anime, and a must for most anime fans.
Enjoy! :)

In the "epic" anime area, most of the well made ones are very famous and popular. Examples incude Naruto, InuYasha and Bleach, and now, possibly Soul Eater.
Soul Eater brings everything you can have in animes like Inuyasha and Bleach in a more developed way, and with better animation quality.
> STORY:
Very well adapted, always making sure we know what's going on with every single character, without missing any details. The first half of the season is almost identical to the manga, and shows exactly where the series is going. Unfortunately, the second half leaves things somehow unclear as it is needed to rush to the final
...
battles.
One very disturbing thing about this anime is how the writers focus so much on all the characters that they don't have time to talk about the main characters - Soul and Maka -, as well as their relationship, which is very clear in the manga and slightly apparent on the anime, but still noticable. With this it doesn't really look like a shounen.
The final battle is sick, I must say. I really wasn't expecting it to be that awful, but unfortunately it was very disappointing.
Another disturbing thing is how characters just don't die, even when they clearly die. Only three main characters die in the whole season, and I did count it, if you're wondering.
All in all, the story is well told, being manga friendly, only making things weird at the very end, and possibly making it impossible to make a second season.
> ART:
The animation in Soul Eater is very beautiful clearly, and has a cartoonish style that slightly changes depending on the situation, never leaving things unprecise. Special credits to the geniuses who created the crazy moon and sun, which give any environment during the story lots of life. Awesome.
> SOUND:
OST magically fitting makes every battle, every moment, every episode, very exciting. Funny moments have their own songs, and they fit very well.
Some battles use actual japanese songs (with someone singing them), and creates a difference from the other OSTs that just isn't fitting.
> ENJOYMENT:
Being such an ***hole to choose an anime to really watch and enjoy, I am extremely happy to have watched this. Well-developed story and characters made it all truly promising, keeping me glued to the screen at all times. Funny moments and dark moments make it a full pack.
It was truly enjoyable.
> OVERALL:
My favourite anime so far. BIG achievement, since like I said, I'm an ***hole when choosing an anime to watch:
- If you have ever liked watching any adventure animes, this is a real must.
- Don't let its cartoonish animation let you down, it's darker than it seems, while having the funniest scenes possible.
- It's a full pack: comedy, adventure, action, mystery, romance.
- It has AWESOME BATTLES. That's all I have to say about battles.
- It's full of freakin' awesome characters.
- Awesome story.
DON'T MISS IT, and if you want to watch the first episode, watch the fourth, it's the "actual" first.
See ya! ;)
