First off, I understand that this is a one-shot manga that is meant to give the reader a little taste of a experimental story. But this story only mashed Alice in Wonderland, Red Riding Hood and Thumbalina together, added some blood and sparkles and called it horror.

I liked the art, since it was a true illustrative style I could enjoy. But the story...
The story was too juvenile and too easy. The ending, where the "Alice" character is standing in the wolf's remains after cutting him open and revealing herself is something any teen would imagine if they were to make a gore-based or horror twist ...

Colorful (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
If you like ecchi humor, Colorful! is for you.
Although this series is very funny at the beginning, the events that take place seem a bit repetitive after a while. After all, it does contain frisky guys that seem desperate for that one upskirt peek or that one wardrobe malfunction.

The art is okay. If you want something totally psychedelic, go for the intermission pieces.

Mixed Feelings

The Japanese dub was the cloak that hid the horrible truth of this anime adaptation. The English is a complete and utter waste of time, money and of a fan's time and money. My friends and I were ...

F. Compo (Manga) add
Preliminary (57/102 chp)
Family Compo isn't your typical family story!
I enjoyed this manga very much. The beginning of the manga was a bit slow and stereotypical for me, since it follows the whole "Abandoned kid gets rescued by forgotten family member" plot. As soon as it hits the later chapters, alot (and I mean ALOT) of crazy stuff happens that will make you say "WHAT?".

The art reminds me of something that could be featured in Shonen Jump more than Shoujo Beat but it doesn't distract too much.

Yes, the story is about crossdressing females AND males but doesn't follow the "bishounen formula" for the males (which, let's ...
